These look nice, and are good for hand drying, but that’s about it. For dish drying, counter wiping, etc. they mostly just smear water around rather than absorbing it. Some work better than others – the solid gray ones seem to be the worst offenders.

While attractive these towels are too small to function as an everyday towel. After first washing they shrunk a fair amount. Quality is ok not great. If you cool a lot these may not be the best choice for you. The attached pics compare the purchased towels to what I consider a “normal” sized towel (purchased rose on top).

These towels are PERFECT! I’ve tried SO many from Amazon and these are staying AND I plan to order more. If you don’t already do this, I highly suggest washing them prior to first use. They are cotton and they get super soft and ultra absorbent after the initial wash. These absorb readily and feel great on my hands. I’m VERY happy to have found these!

Bought 15 of these. Followed their instructions to wash and dry them before 1st use. Turns out these are water resistant. They simply do not dry or absorb any water. Most of them have runs in the material, color blotches and misprints/weaves in them. You might be able to use them to
water prove your tent but certainly not as dish towles!!!

They look nice but there is no water retention to these at all. You run them over a dish thinking the dish will be dry and its like the dish towel barely picked up any water. I find it takes much longer to use these for drying dishes than the bulk pack of ugly looking ones I have from the hardware store.
I’ll just stick to leaving these out for aesthetics but they aren’t very practical for their intended use.

I was disappointed in the quality of these towels. A couple were made of material that was very stiff and crunchy and won’t absorb water. I also had one towel that had a wad of threads next to a hole that didn’t get woven properly, a section with a loose weave that will certainly fall apart at the first laundering and a section with stains woven into the material.

When something is called a dish “towel”, one tends to expect a towel. A real towel, made with loops of absorbent cotton.
These “towels” are much more like a cotton shirt than anything resembling a towel. You know that collared cotton shirt that looked great on the rack and you thought, “how bad could it be?” Then you took it home and washed it. It made no difference whether you let it go the whole way through the dryer, pulled it out early, hung it up and let it air dry, laid it flat to dry, put it under the couch cushion of your favorite oversized relative… no matter what you tried, that shirt came out wrinkled and was a pain to iron.
That’s the same material of these “towels”.
I’m a loyal Prime Citizen who gladly helps maintain Mr. Bezos’ vast wealth. But, in this case, do yourself a favor and go to Kohl’s or Wayfair or anywhere else to make sure when you buy a towel, you actually get a towel.

Generally happy with this purchase. Nice set of patterns and good color options. I bought these to use in bread basket, bread baking, and to dry delicate glassware. Unhappy purchasers don’t seem to understand that this is not meant to be a heavy Terry towel. It is more like a heavy duty double thick flour sack. My only complaint is that they shrink considerably. I generally wash in cold and dry on low and still lost about 2 inches on each side. I imagine you’d lose 3-4 on hot. But for my purposes, I really like them.

I would NOT recommend these. Please go check out the various photos others have posted. The item description says these are machine washable with low tumble dry. My towels looked so nice when they were NEW out of the bag, but they look absolutely horrible now after the wash. They have shrunken by half pretty much and are so wrinkled and scrunched up, it doesn’t even look like a towel… The “denim” looking material one is the worst of them all. It shrunk the most and almost feels crunchy.
These are kitchen towels, not some fancy coat that I should need to hand wash or air dry, etc. That’s just not practical from my perspective for a functional use point for a kitchen… I guess I need to go steam these fancy towels now (no idea what to do with them…)?
