I have several versions of these towels which are indispensable when you make and sell sourdough. Such a nice presentation. When I make a loaf for a neighbour I will deliver in these wonderful towels to be returned of course, but saves the bread from sweating while warm. We wash ours in scent free detergent and hang to dry to preserve the colours and once every few weeks soak them in baking soda and vinegar for a good cleaning. The recipient love the towels, she makes bread and also does pickles, so this was a perfect choice.

I bought a few of these before and loved them. They are pricey for dishtowels but I love the absorbency of them. When they arrive they are a bit stiff, but one washing and they soften right up. They are oversized and dry quickly. I’ve bought a few more sets as I really do like them more than any other dishtowels.

I just recieved these towels and they are so pretty and look like good quality. However, one of them arrived with stains or mold (see pics). Will try to wash but disappointed.

These flour sacks are not my cup of tea, so to speak. They looked more delicate on my screen, and I thought I might like them. But with the convenience of online shopping, there always is a caveat emptor– sometimes, the item in person does not correspond to what the buyer thought it would be when viewing it online. I found the floral designs to be overwhelmingly garish and sticky to the touch and the material to be scratchy, almost like a hair shirt. I have “donated” them to the garage recycling area, and I think that in short order, someone will “acquire” them and they will find a home. Just not my cup of tea….

So vintage cute!! I bought two sets and use them to line my fridge shelves. Makes for easy cleaning and cute look to inside the fridge ♥️

These towels were so attractive, for dish towels that is, but not functional for my needs. Even after washing, they were useless for wiping good knives after washing. They were NOT absorbent at all. I use two different dish towels at a time on a regular basis, one heavy and one lightweight. These towels will be good only for my pasta making when absorption is not a requirement. Cheap linen towels are more useful for me than these.

I bought a few sets of these towels and LOVE them. They are adorable! The colors are vibrant and bold and the designs are so cute. They look wonderful in the kitchen and certainly brighten things up substantially. In regards to functionality, they are fantastic. They are soft and absorbent. Before using the towels, I washed them using a small amount of detergent and 1/2 cup of salt. I was told that using salt would help to “set” the colors and the absorbency. I also used 1/2 cup of white vinegar in the rinse water. The towels turned out great…..they’re absorbent, soft and beautiful.

I bought these to cover my bread dough as it rises and they work perfectly. They are large enough to cover a 7 quart Kitchen Aid mixing bowl and also a half sheet tray for the second proof on cinnamon rolls. I don’t use them as dish towels so I cannot comment on the absorbency of them but love them.

I needed a replacement for paper towels after washing my hands in the kitchen. These are perfect for that! They arrive feeling scratchy but after washing they are much softer. I have the berries print. It’s definitely a vintage look. The background is unbleached cotton, so it’s not pure white. They’re thin enough to dry well between uses. There’s a hook loop for hanging. They remind me very much of towels my grandmothers had in the 70s. Charming! Happy!

These came quickly without any odors or stains. I did the salt wash (used dish detergent) and vinegar rinse as suggested by another reviewer, but don’t know if that made any difference. After washing that way, they are very soft and absorbent. The cloths are bright, vibrant, and cheerful! Perfect large size for covering a couple of rising loaves or setting veggies to dry on without getting lint on. The corner hanging straps are a really thoughtful addition.
