In the picture it shows a spiral one which was the type my child needed. Received a completely different kind so had to go out to store and buy another one!

This paper is ultra thin, you can see sketches behind the page through the page. I had to put a paper between the pages since I often go back and work on sketches, there may be another sketch on the page behind.
Copy grade paper is thicker than the pages in this book. Not for serious sketchers.

If you love to draw, or if you love someone who loves to draw this is a great book. I bought several of these sketchbooks, this one is Reagan’s favorite. Speedy delivery too…

Such thin paper not worth it! I could have bought one for a lot cheaper at the dollar store.

This is not very good quality, even for the price in my opinion. I could get a better one at ross for about the same money. I would not purchase one of these again.

Great way to keep kids occupied for hours. I think the quality is great. The spiral makes it easy for them to draw or color on any surface. The paper works well with pencil, crayon and marker. Great for road trips and air travel with kids.

I bought this for my son who is a budding artist and he really liked it. The paper is not quite thick enough to use with markers but he can draw on it. It’s a good size that gives him enough room to make a nice drawing. I feel it was a great value for the price.

At the price point, it was the perfect thing for my middle schoolson’s school supply list. He’s not into art and just does the minimum to get by. So I didn’t want to send a lot on something that he’ll use for a quarter of the year. His younger brother who loves art grabbed it and his first comment was “You can’t paint on this. You can’t do marker on this.” He could tell that the paper thickness was just too thin (and he’s in elementary school). My one concern is that it does NOT have the thick covers (front and back) that many other sketch books do. So I expect after 10 weeks, it’s going to look really beat up.

The sketchbook pictured shows MEDIUM weight paper, which I specifically checked before ordering. I received a book with a slightly different cover, reading STANDARD weight, and the pages are noticeably thinner. I am disappointed.
