these are exactly the design I was looking for, seem smaller.. I should have checked that but totally still love them. I see where others say the lid isn’t nice, or its cheap looking. But I think if screwed on tight it won’t be a problem, you won’t be filling them all the time so you won’t be touching the lid. Definitely happy with them and would buy again

Pretty well made & nice size. As with pretty much ALL salt & pepper shakers, the factory holes would be too small for actual salt and actual pepper, but i bought these for applying granulated garlic and granulated onion powder, so the factory holes are perfectly sized for that. (I would have re-drilled the holes larger if i was actually gonna use them for salt & pepper.) As it is, the undersides of the factory holes have rings of burrs around them from the factory drilling (this is common also) that would slightly impede the flow when shook, so i used a Dremel to remove the burrs. (The burrs are why i gave only four stars instead of five.)

I guess it’s GIFTABLE but this was for my kitchen.

I love the green glass which is classier than clear glass. Maybe it’s a fancier take on a diner S&P left on a table but it adds character to the kitchen. And the fact you can easily load the pepper and salt by just twisting off the lid (not a bottom loader) is great. This makes the items easy to clean and load but also you can easily see when you need to reload the jars.

The only issue I have with this is the containers are identical, not the lesser amount of openings in the lid you usually get with the designated pepper, and it’s hard to be sparing with the salt. Even though I barely angle the salt to come out the top there is too much salt coming out for my taste. If it’s a real problem you might have to seal up some of the top openings to try and control the flow.

Seems silly to gush about shakers, but here we are. Searched high and low for a set that would look great left out on the table. The vintage retro feel of these is adorable and the “green” recycled color is not overwhelming at all. They hold a decent amount of salt/pepper and you can’t beat the price.

I had purchased a set of these shakers a few years ago, we all really liked them, nice heavier weight, not flimsy and recycled glass. Unfortunately, last Sunday we broke one. Immediately looked on Amazon for a new set. The set I received was slightly larger and the cap wouldn’t screw on. We tried everything. After trying to screw on the cap our hands were black. Yuck! No way caps are stainless steel. With older set, that never happened and the cap screwed on easily. Quality is down. Very disappointed. Amazon was awesome as usual and sent a replacement set out but was same.

This is a very nice salt & pepper shaker set. They have a slight green tint that makes them look very nice. The top stainless steel caps are not real thin – they are a attractive and a nice quality. The holes in the caps are perfect. I looked all around for a quality classic salt and pepper shaker – this is it! There are a lot of ‘fancy looking’ ones out there but they simply do not work very well. They are also poor designs. Highly recommend 🙂

Saw these at a neat organic restaurant in Austin, Texas. Liked the fact they were made of recycled glass. More importantly, they worked great (just a little shake and you got the salt and pepper you needed without having to shake it all day) and really look good. Another neat side note for us, they were made in Spain (not China! Surprise, surprise, surprise).

I had read the reviews and knew these shakers were heavier than perhaps I was used to, but I really like them. They don’t tip over when you reach out to grab them, the lids are secure when attached and the flow of salt and pepper is just right. They look nice on the stove or on the table. We live in a humid climate and have not noticed any clogs at all. These will last us a long time, so money well-spent with this purchase.

love these shakers …… heavy, don’t tip easy ….. nice holes for course black pepper ….. but salt flow was a little heavy for me …. simple solution, touch of masking tape on the inside of cap to cover a couple of the holes …. perfect !!!

I needed a shaker for paprika and garlic powder. I always get the paprika in piles in one spot and not in anothers. Same with garlic and steaks. I decided to put the spices in salt shakers and I picked this set. Very cute vintage looking shakers that will look good in any kitchen or on any dining table as salt & pepper. The glass is heavy and well-made and the caps screw on easily and fit perfectly. Nice glass with just a hint of green reminds me of Depression Era glass in some ways. Made in Spain which means well made in my experience. I love them and will probably add more for my frequently used spices that I need to shake on food while prepping. Definitely recommend these to every cook. Great price for what you’re getting.
