Perfect for Mobile Phone and ComputerI moved my office from a quiet part of the house (Basement) to the active part of my house (Living Room). I am in Sales and I am constantly on the phone. I needed first and foremost a way to have a conversation with my work and customers without being distracted to what is happening around me. The ANC Active Noise Cancelling works great and the people on the other end only hear me. I can also switch it off (Hear Through) which works too good. I can hear the animals walking on the floor in the other room as well as other sounds in the house I normally cant hear. The unit has so many useful features to list. It took me approximately two weeks to try various settings to find what I like.I can listen to a podcast on my phone while I work on my computer. The headset alerts me if I get a call on any number of my computer apps like Slack, Zoom, Teams et cetera. It pauses the podcast on my phone and switches to the computer seamlessly. It switches back to where I left off on the podcast when I cancel the computer call. The headset does not have a pressure adjustment for the ears. It does adjust up and down to fit perfectly over the ears. I found that the frames of my glasses when pressed by the headset cause some ear discomfort over 15 or so minutes. I just simply remove my glasses and slide them over the ear part of the headset. Problem solved. The support team is responsive and eager to not only help you but will follow up to see if the problem is solved and to see if you are happy. Support is PERFECT using either website chat or phone. Website chat is much faster.

Keep disconnecting from my smartphonePros: Really good sound and features. ANC is really good in a noisy area. ANC much better than the Poly Voyager Focus 2. Call quality A++. Jabra mobile app has a lot of great features. PC app is good but messing some key features the mobile app has. Very comfortable can wear all day and all night without feeling ear fatigue.Cons: Randomly disconnects from smartphone. I replaced the headset with a different pair and same problem. I have the Poly Voyager Focus 2 headset and they stay connected to both devices with no issues. Jabra PC app doesn’t have all the same features as on the mobile app. Could be a little louder when playing music and watching videos. Conclusion: This headset is really great for working. I will continue to use them. Hopefully at some point Jabra will come up with an update that will fix the phone bt connection problem.

Tech Issues and design flaws limit theseI bought these primarily to use while traveling for conference calls in noisy areas. For the price point these should be near perfect. The challenges I have had 1) pairing issues. I’m constantly having to mess with the headphones to get them to pair with my phone. When they pair the call quality is great, but if you buy these do not expect them to perform well 2) the case. Why oh why would give me a soft fabric case for these. A lot business people buying these will want to be able to throw in a backpack. I constantly worry they are going to break with only the equivilant of a fabric cover. Jabra come on you could easily give a hard sided case, 3) personal preference but I like over cups on the earphones rather than sit on the ear style. These get a little annoying after an hour or two. I think somewhere a Jabra product manager was like hey lets hold back on really good ear covers for the elite+ 85. Again like the case it’s dumb. Just make a really good product and sell a ton of them.

Do not buy this versionThe microphone simply doesn’t work. This is a known problem in the Jabra threads and no one has found a fix – no new firmware, etc.I have two other Jabra headsets that work fine. Don’t buy this one until Jabra can fix the firmware.

Not good. From everything I looked at online these seemed perfect for my work. Too many times my customers could not understand me. After wearing for long periods they hurt my ears. They are way too expensive for what you get. Noise canceling is ok, sound quality on my end not bad, on the other end is great sometimes, horrible others, I have had them 3 days on 1 charge and the battery is still on high level. Definitely not worth the price. FYI I am in sales so all I do is talk on the phone.

Slight improvement on the earlier Evolve2I had hoped this would be so much better than the Evolve2 65 which I had been using prior. It’s not worse that’s for sure, and the additional microphones and boom function are nice.It has great call quality and is comfortable to wear for the many hours I sometimes have to spend at my desk on video calls. People on the other end indicate they can hear me just fine. I did not have any issues connecting to my computer or my phone. Battery life is decent and it lets you know when your battery is getting low. Each time you turn it on, it pings you to let you know what level the battery is at, and when low, it charges quickly.

Design defects mar chunky successor to the Evolve 75I’ve gone through two of these in six months. After years with my Evolve 75s, they finally bit the dust when the wiring in the flip-to-mute boom mic fatigued and broke inside the headset. I replaced them with these Evolve2 75s, but within less than three months, the Evolve2s exhibited the same issue as the Evolves! Not only was it not fixed in the new design with strain relief or a continuous contact, it wore out far faster than the previous version. Hoping it was a fluke, I had them replaced under warranty. Within less than three months, again, the same wiring broke inside the boom mic. This is clearly a design defect. If you plan to use the flip-to-mute feature, avoid the Evolve2 75.In addition, there were frequent disconnects and random self-muting on Bluetooth. Jabra Support, as always, says they don’t really support Bluetooth and that their dongle is required. However, using the dongle, there were disconnection issues, trouble connecting to a second device, and scrambled audio when disconnecting from one call and connecting to another that cold only be solved by restarting the headset.Overall, even though the audio is excellent and the headphones are very comfortable, a significant decline in device quality and robustness that cannot be recommended.

Excellent, but too much for meI feel like maybe I’m just not the target audience for a headset like this.I don’t spend my day on calls, but as I regularly call home using Zoom I like to test headsets fairly regularly, always hunting for the perfect model, and after a couple of years and maybe a dozen business-oriented headsets I’ve come to the conclusion that… ummm… I can’t really tell the difference between these things.Seriously, I’m not kidding. This month I’ve been testing the Jabra Evolve2 75 and the Anker PowerConf H500. The Anker headset retails right now at $120 while Jabra’s version retails at a whopping $384. Now, if the Jabra headset better? Almost certainly, yes. The 75 comes with excellent advanced ANC and 8 microphones, while Anker’s budget headset doesn’t specify the number of mics and comes with VoiceShield technology, which I’ve found to be a little hit and miss compared to Jabra’s bulletproof ANC.That said, after testing these to headsets and many more I just can’t get my head around the difference in cost. Not just between these headsets, though. I just don’t understand the market in general. My feeling is that were I to spend 8 hours a day on calls I’d quickly come to see the value in Jabra’s high end, high priced offerings – I certainly love their recreational headphones and would recommend them to anyone – but as a more casual user who makes calls sporadically I don’t feel I can recommend them to someone like me.So yeah, if you only make a few calls each day I’d probably steer you towards the budget end of the market.
