Just moved, less cabinets. These are holding my most used mugs. Fits nicely next to the coffee pot!!

Cute? Yes! Sturdy? No. Bought to display my decorative holiday mugs. The screw that they give you to assemble the base to the main pole is NOT flush so it wobbles. Mug holding poles jusy set in drilled holes, they do NOT screw in — instead comes with super glue but I don’t know that I’d use this thing regularly for fear of it tipping over & breaking your ceramic mugs.

The first one came broken, which should have warned me. The second one came unbroken, and while the base and the stem are screwed together, the posts just pop into the stem, and there is no way to keep them secure in the angled holes other than gravity.
The material is a smooth, lightweight plastic. It looks nice once it’s put together at least. The cups pots aren’t designed for oversized or wide mouth mugs, like the collectible Starbucks ones. I bought it for my classroom, so when it falls apart, I’ll upgrade

First of all, let me say I wasn’t expecting this to have a premium quality feel and sturdiness to it. It’s definitely a budget mug tree.
The tree was a piece of cake to install, and I would say it actually does look very much like it does in the photos of the description. So I don’t feel like the seller is dishonest or anything. It actually does look pretty good.
However, I can’t emphasize how unbelievably cheap it feels. I was genuinely worried this thing would topple over if you had one too many mugs on one side and it wasn’t perfectly balanced. It really IS that cheap. The tree is light as a feather and the plastic is ridiculously easy to bend.
However, it holds our mugs just like it should. It stays balanced and there haven’t been any big issues or annoyances.
The one thing I can say is a downside is how close they are to each other. Our other mug tree has the mugs separated from each other. With this, you do have to be more gentle than you expect, because they can clink together when putting them on and do rub against each other. Is it a big deal? No, not really. But I don’t want to ruin the finish on some sentimental mugs I have. So it’s a bummer I can’t put those mugs on it.
I don’t mean to sound like I’m giving a negative review, though. If you want an inexpensive, good looking tree that doesn’t take up much space and you aren’t finicky about the mugs rubbing against each other or anything like that, I would go as far as saying this is perfect. But if you do want something that has a better build quality to it and doesn’t keep the mugs so close, then you might want to look elsewhere.

I was a little disappointed with this product I wasn’t expecting to be self assembly, the assembly was easy but the small ‘arms’ of the tree that the mugs sit on didn’t fit in securely and kept falling out so the only way to keep them secure was to glue them so I wouldn’t purchase this product again

I love the space saving idea of this and this design was very minimalist which is what I wanted for my mugs on our coffee bar. The others I saw had some weird designs or were minimalist but oddly expensive.
This was the most affordable minimalist looking one I found. It was super light in the package and felt almost like the box was empty. When I opened everything was there but again… it was so LIGHT. No weight to this at all.
I was convinced it was not going to withstand my mugs. Surprisingly, it does hold my mugs BUT it rocks and starts to tip over if not careful. It’s a balancing act type of deal!
Does the job, you just have to be very careful! Cute, but not sturdy at all.

Just Wiping the surface as I usually do, and touching the tree litely, all sticks and mugs collapse instantly as the sticks don’t screw in or attach properly, it broke my fave mug…nough said, in the bin along with my favorite mug!

The bottom screws in tight so it is sturdy not to fall over. However the pegs to hang the cups on do not insert very deep and they fall out easily. Nothing anchors or secures them in. I just am careful when placing the cups on them so they don’t fall off and all is well. Not bad for the price, just don’t be rough with it and it will be fine.

Shiny plastic, cheap-prongs just stick in sometimes fall out. Holds my cups no problem. But if i had seen it and touched it prior-i would not have bought.
