Pretty good low cost optionIts a bit cheaper than it looks. For example, only half of the wires are welded to the frame, the other half fall short and are only held up by welds to the other wires, so they might not hold as much weight. The frame is surprisingly light duty, but seems like it will be fine. The system they have to hang it will be pretty unsteady, and tilt wildly if pots are not perfectly balanced. You’ll need minimum 4 lines holding the frame up, so you’ll need to provide 2 more than the 2 that come included.

Balance it properly and it’s fineI like this. It serves its purpose which is to save cubbard and drawer space in my small studio apt. Installation took about 10 minutes using a powered screwdriver device. Only annoyance is that I had to bunch up & shorten the chain length else it hung too low over the table where I have my microwave oven. This resulted in it requiring pots and pans to be very evenly distributed on each side and in the middle. Otherwise, it tilts aggressively and looks precarious and items you have stored on top (pot & pan covers, colanders, etc) may fall off though there is a 2″ edge to minimize the danger.

Kind of cheapDidn’t come with fish eyes screws or hooks to mount it. Kind of cheap looking and flimsy material. Only upside is that it was inexpensive.

Decent for the priceIt’s okay for the price, but the metal itself is pretty flimsy and it came bent in many places. But overall okay. Ordering a different one just because it doesn’t meet my expectations for aesthetics, so if you’re looking for something pretty this isn’t it

Excellent valueWe just moved into a house that has one-third the square footage of our last one. We have somewhere between 20-30 pots and pans and no cabinet space for them, so this was a great idea for maximizing vertical space. We did not have hundreds of dollars to invest in a rack, so this was in just the right price range. To get the most out of this product, here’s what you need:1. Four hooks rated to about 25 pounds each2. Four anchors/toggles that can go into the ceiling and that are the right size for your hooks to screw intoScrew holes for the anchors, place them in the ceiling, screw the hooks into them. You want to have each corner supported separately by its own hook, because if you only do one or two hooks, when you remove one pan, everything else on the rack will slide around with the shift in gravity. This rack is a nice choice because it has a center grid, so you can stack pots in the middle as well as hanging them around the sides. Although the construction is lightweight, the joints are soldered, so it is strong. I took away one star because I had to supply additional hardware, there were no instructions, and the construction could be better to last longer. I’ve only had it for three months, but so far it has held up really well, in spite of lots of use and abuse.Overall, for the price, can’t be beat!

absolutely love them I wash and hang upThe media could not be loaded.
I have it hanging above my sink and it is so convenient for me cuz my kitchen is small so I washed my pots and pans and Ice just hanging right up

Anchor it at all 4 cornersAs others said, the metal isn’t very heavy on this pot rack, but it’s sturdy enough to bear the load it needs to.We installed it as directed but the 2 anchor points it comes with make no sense- the thing swings like crazy. We got two more eye hooks, re-drilled holes and anchored it at each corner, and now it is stable. If there were more options for a rack of this size, I would probably try another one, but there was no competition to fit the dimensions we were looking for, so this one works!

Even better with two of them(Jan. 2018) Bought this almost a year ago and never got around to hanging till last week. I learned i suck at hanging things straight and drilling holes in my ceiling, but when people ask why it’s crooked and off center, I say “it’s art” lol. Also the chain it comes with is for lower ceilings, maybe 8 feet and less, my ceiling is 9 feet so I bought extra chain for each side to lower the rack, as my mother is only about 63 inches tall. Also if buying this, it is not very big, don’t get me wrong it holds a lot of pots or pans, but if you are like my family, you may want to buy a bigger version or 2 of these, i am going to order a 2nd.UPDATE: (Nov. 2018) After I bought and installed the 2nd one of these, it looked horribly bare on my ceiling, so for roughly $20 I built the this thing to make my ceiling look better and then hung the pot hangers from it. Now it not only looks great, but works like a charm

Best buy for a cramped Venice Beach Studio Kitchen!PROS: Super functional yet very low price for someone who’s on a tight budget.A must for small kitchens or old poorly designed cabinet storage. For tall people like me (6’3″), it’s better to reach up for pots then bending over to low drawers. It has a cool industrial look with the chains and black iron grid. You will actually clean up your pots faster with this grid then leaving them to dry on a cluttered counter rack.Comes with the hooks!! , IKEA pot racks charge a hefty premium for buying hooks separately.DRAWBACKS- thin rails, rough finished product using non-discrete welding, manufacturing techniques. Doesn’t look too pretty especially fortoday’s custom designer kitchens. Has a medivel-dungeon look about it, which I actually dig :)CONSIDERATIONS: You can install it in 15 min, but you will need a power drill with different bits.Make sure you install the ceiling screw on a stud. Knowing how to knock for studs or you may have the whole thing come crashing down on your head! LOL!
