A must have for any super auto espresso machine ownerThis is definitely a must-have for any super automatic espresso machine owner. Pay attention to the gram size of the tablet as it varies by manufacture. I found these best for some of the larger Jura’s as the dosage is most similar to their own tablets. I always run a blank or two after cleaning to improve flavor.

You need this if you have an Ember mugI love my Ember coffee mug, but it is difficult to clean. One review of the Ember mentioned this product. I tried other ways to clean the mug, but no luck and I didn’t want to damage the mug. With this product, the stains were easily removed. I used hot water and filled it completely before adding a tablet. If it is not full, you will see a stain left above the water level. The cleaning also seems to help the mug know when it is empty and turn off. When I haven’t used this product for a while, the mug continues to heat when it is empty. I definitely recommend this!

Keeps my Breville clean!I bought my Breville espresso machine a few years back, and I have been using filtered water for the most part. I tend to wait until the clean lights turn on before taking action, and I’ve noticed that can take a while. Once I ran out of the 2 cleaning tabs that came with the machine, I started to worry. I read up online, and someone recommended these particular tablets. They’re not too expensive, and they come with a good amount. 60 cleanings should last me a while. I haven’t noticed a change in the way the espresso tastes after cleaning from when I first got the machine, so I would guess that’s a good thing. All in all, for the money these tablets aren’t bad.

Works for Philips 1200/CarinaI have a refurbished machine that is not that old and seemed like the espresso was getting cooler and cooler. It just wasn’t any good. I used one of these tabs and messed it up first because it got stuck in the ground coffee whole. Either snap it in half in this machine so it doesn’t get stuck or just put the tab directly into the top of the brew unit. It worked great after that. The coffee is nice and hot now.

Not the right size for meThese were not big for the Mastrena 1 machines at Starbucks. They were the wrong number. I was able to crush them to make it work to run cycles. It was easy to do and I wouldn’t suggest ordering them for the Mastrena 1. The product was great and worked in an emergency.

Nifty little buggers! Highly recommended.I purchased these tablets to flush out and descale my 1930s chrome percolator, which was in dire need of a cleaning. Cafiza products may be designed for sophisticated espresso machines, but I figured they would work just as well on coffee urns and other brewing apparatuses. I was right.First, I removed the grounds basket and filter assembly before filling the reservoir with water, replaced the lid and let it heat to boiling. I then lifted the lid again and dropped two Cafiza tablets into the water, which sunk to the bottom and began to dissolve. Within minutes, the water turned a milky white, and I could see a beer-like lacing coat the reservoir wall with film. After 15 more minutes, I unplugged the unit and allowed it to soak for 30 minutes. After draining and rinsing thoroughly, and repeating the process with the basket assembly, I made my first post-cleaning batch of coffee- and it was *AMAZING.* For one thing, you could smell the subtleties of the roast more clearly. It was an intense, fresh coffee smell, the kind you associate equally with greasy diners and bougie coffeehouses. My first cup was delicious. The brew, and it’s lovely oils, poured forth, untainted by the taste of cooked-on coffee, metal, or decades of mineral deposits that had plagued my urn since I bought it.. It tasted like new.Thank you, Cafiza!!

Great job!I use these in my Saeco Moltio super automatic. Does a great job! If its your first cleaning in a while be prepared to see a lot of stuff floating in the cup when you first clean. It gets a lot out. Just follow the cleaning instructions and your machine will brew great coffee.

great cleaning for a great priceExcellent value.I use it for my Breville 870XL and it’s way less expensive than going with the Breville tablets. I even use the Cafiza powder on the La Spaziale mini vII that I run at the office.Seriously, why would someone pay so much more for other products when you have the Umex Cafiza available for so much less?Just buy it.
