Best tasting coffee you will make from a basic keurig.I was going to only give this 4 stars due to how poorly the design is for the plus models (older keurig pro) needing the extra grey clip, as it is not particularly foolproof and took a few minutes to figure it out and it has to be taken apart every time (as the lid holds it in place and removing the lid makes it fall in) with the clip always falling back in and having to be retrieved from inside the housing of the brewer. Hence my low marks on easy to use. Not impossible nor difficult, but honestly if your making coffee you probably need it and this extra annoyances dont help. However that being said with high quailty grounds, man this thing makes some amazing coffee! So down here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (better food than New Orleans so we know flavor around here) we use Community Coffee which is packaged right here in the city, it has a strong flavor almost an aquired taste (normal coffee tastes like burnt and flavorless to me since I am conditioned for it now). Most coffee pots as a carafe with paper filters brew it fine (what its designed for), the k cups for this brand is ok definitely not as good as grounds with paper filter as it seems k cups is an afterthought for Community. But using grounds in this adapter from the k cup side it blew everything out of the water in regards to taste and flavor. Worth every penny, and definitely worth the trouble. Im so excited for my coffee in the morning that even if the clip falls in I dont try to throw the adapter out the window any more.Had no idea coffee could taste so good. My technique for this is to use mid grinded coffee like is used in paper filters and keep it refrigerated until I am using it (dont leave it in the pot overnight), course ground is not enough flavor (but still good), yet fine ground lets too much through the mesh so mid ground gives best results. Yes people tell not to put in fridge due to “moisture” but really modern full sized fridges have at minimum a moisture reducer mode or something that can make some foods last longer so should be on anyway, but starting from cold grounds imparts far more flavor. You cant really do this with k cups as they will break at the seal if cold. The other thing is this adapter holds more grounds than needed, as you can brew 2 large or 3 small cups without losing much flavor, but any less than the max fill line some water does not get used in brewing and less flavor is imparted. Its better to fill to max fill line on adapter with grounds and make two cups with it (the second one set strong) than to try and add less grounds. I generally make 18-20oz of coffee in the morning, this is why I got this in the first place since using the same k cup twice really isnt that good tasting nor cheap, or two k cups for more cost than buying a coffee. I make the first 6-8oz on regular and the next 12oz on strong, works perfect on my 5yr old something model kerig pro but results may vary my guess is many may see similar results. I only replace the grounds after that 18-20oz or so, or I take out the whole adapter and pop it back into the fridge immediately after brewing for the next day if doing small cups. The second brew the next day believe it or not is still better than the k cup of this coffee brand specifically, but only if its refrigerated before brewing. My guess is refrigerated grounds really makes the difference here, but this adapter is very well designed specifically to make very good coffee even if it does have some shortcomings in other parts of its design. Its an acceptable tradeoff for those who consider the flavor of the coffee important.

FInally, a reusable k-cup that makes strong, bold coffeeI have tried three different reusable kcup designs, ALL of them producing incredibly weak, watery coffee. I had given up but saw some positive reviews about this model so I decided to give it one last shot. The design on this one is unique amongs all other brands/types. The item decsription explains this better than I can, but I *think* the difference is in how long the water is kept in contact with the coffee grounds. With the other brands, it seems as though the water just drains right out as soon as it hits the filter whereas this one prevents it from draining off the grounds as quickly and this, I think, makes all the difference. So, the issue with weak coffee is solved with this reusable kcup. There is still a bit of a challenge with a bit of sediment coming through although it is much less with this model than the others. I have discovered that this is MOSTLY the result of the grinder used for the coffee as well as the fineness of the grind. You need to use as coarse of a grind as possible to minimize sediment. But I found a vast improvement overall when I switched to a better grinder. I had been using Breville burr grinder which is an excellent grinder. But I have switched to a Baratza grinder which has a conical burr which seems to produce a very consistently sized grind with all of the resulting grounds being of similar grind. With my previous grinder, a coarse grind setting would produce a mostly coarse grind but also a fair amount of finer, powdery particles. Those were the ones that would pass through the filter into the cup. The less of this you generate, the less sediment in your cup. But, all of that aside, this is a wonderful, reusable k-cup. I am planning on ordering three more to make a perfect set of 4 for my morning routine. 2 large cups of coffee, each made with 2 brewings of 8-oz setting on my keurig.

Got Keurig? You need this!“GRAY” Keurig My K-Cup Universal Reusable Filter MultiStream Technology. Do not buy any other make or brand. Pre-packaged k-cups have become too expensive per cup. Keurig classic uses single hole puncturing. My k-cup is super easy to disassemble, fill, assemble and use. Uses approximately 3 leveled tea spoons. There is a fill line inside the filter. Do not over fill or the water will spill out. Can use any brand ground coffee. Very little to none of the sediment. No paper filters needed. I will be purchasing a back up of the My K-Cup. Recommend this purchase to all. BUY! BUY!BUY!

An updated version of an already great productA high-quality reusable coffee filter that makes some amazing coffee! I’m from a small rural town in South Texas and I love coffee almost more than life itself…well not really, but i do love coffee. I drink different kinds of coffee from light to dark, but mostly dark. By using grounds in this adapter made a huge difference in regard to taste and flavor. It is worth every penny, and definitely an excellent upgrade to my old adapter. Having my coffee in the morning now makes me feel alive and energized knowing that it was brewed to its full potential. This adapter is very well designed specifically to make very good coffee and a must for any Keurig enthusiast who considers the flavor of the coffee important.

Does the JobI purchased this for my coworkers to use in our K-Express Essentials machine. It did take us a moment to figure out how to take out the kcup slot and insert this one, but soon enough it was brewing like a dream and we could use our grounds! A few days later, I went to brew my morning usual and noticed an off taste to my coffee. It was very…bitter? And kind of off tasting. The filter smelled especially strong and burnt. I took the filter apart and soaked each piece in vinegar then rinsed it. While the smell wasn’t as strong as before, the taste was still strange. I’ll have to try it again here in a few days, but the experience has made my mornings a little less caffeinated for sure.

It does work with the K-Elite modelI read somewhere some complaints that this adapter does not work with the K-Elite model. It was not only advertised as so by Keurig, it did work perfectly in my Elite model. I was scared before buying because if it did not fit, I would have returned my coffee maker, but luckily it fitted perfectly. Some people don’t know how to use the things and then they go around spreading bad reviews everywhere telling that the stuffs don’t work. Here is the proof in my pictures. A nice and bold coffee brewed with this adapter.

Finally, this one fits my model – K ExpressCompletely ordered the wrong thing the first time. Just about gave up on this one too…but hey, read the directions and it works out well! Apparently it fits 4 different models – there’s 2 sets of directions in the tiny box…2 per set of directions. One of them is for my K Express. It’s so easy…just use a small knife or blade to remove the WARNING sticker that’s placed over the gray and black on the side, then pull off the gray part. You won’t need that for this model. On the machine, take out the pod holder (push up from the bottom) and then put this pod and holder in place. Super easy! Can’t wait to make my favorite ground coffee in the Keurig without having to make a full pot in my Cuisinart.

Such an ease to use.Such an ease to pop in and out of the Keurig. The lever closes with ease. Cleaning is with ease. A little tap on the bottom to release the used coffee grinds and a rinse under the water. Then soap and suds on the remaining pieces and done. Sit aside for next use. Definitely will purchase a second.

Worked in my older keurig.Looked for awhile for a reusable k cup that would fit my older keurig. This came with instructions that made it easy to figure out and it works great.

Works like it should! This is one case where buying something for a Keurig that is not made by or for Keurig is a bad idea. I bought two other non-brand units from the local store because of the low cost. The problem was that neither of them worked, so I spent the money to order one of these branded devices…it is something I should have done in the first place. The device is easy to use, the instructions are clear and concise, and the quality of the dispensed coffee leaves no doubt that buying name-brand items is a very good idea.
