- Perfect stainless steel material: Made of durable 316 food-grade stainless steel, it is easy to care for and clean, just rinse and dry or set aside
- The high bonding strength of multiple layers: the combination of multiple layers has high strength and a good filtering effect. Suitable for a variety of espresso machines, the filter makes the coffee grounds stronger; the water flow is more stable, and the dissolved content of the espresso is increased, resulting in a better extraction effect
- Simple to use: it is convenient and simple to use. After flattening the coffee powder, place the filter directly on the powder cake, and then connect the device to make coffee
- Easy to clean: the filter can be rinsed repeatedly and can be stored anywhere due to its small size
- Tips: the product specifications are 53.5mm and 58.5mm and both are 100um, please check the correct size before purchasing

But maybe good enough? It’s a bit thinner than the Normcore and what concerns me is the weaving pattern. Hard to show via pics but held against the light, this Ubephant has a simple criss crossing pattern, which let’s you see the other side more easily. Normcore has that too but not all layers are fully aligned and you can’t see straight through as easily, without angling it. So I think it’s a combination of a bit thinner and with fully aligned layers
I’m not sure how much of a practical difference it makes for channelling prevention. I bet they both keep the pucks reasonably dry. Thinking of returning it before getting it dirty with grounds.
