I bought this a few weeks ago and my first experience was not the best. My Ninja had a leak at the top where the drawer (I call it) slides back and forth. It was not terrible but it left water in the tray and almost enough to drain down the back. It did not keep me from trying all of the features and loving each one.
I had watched some videos, so I knew how the coffee maker worked and the different functions. The first brew was K-Cups and both my wife and I noticed something different. We both noted that the coffee had a richer flavor and tasted more like a true brewed coffee. That was one of the reasons that I purchased the Ninja in the first place. I was getting somewhat tired of K-Cups and longed for the rich taste of coffee when it was brewed correctly. So we were pleasantly surprised when the taste was so much better. Someone had remarked that they had the same experience and though the three holes made a difference. Not sure if that was it but I think it was a combination of that and the way Ninja seems to brew even the K-Cup. In any event, the K-Cup experience was a whole lot better.
Our next adventure was using the frother. It turned out to be a really nice bonus and worked like a charm. We did heat up the milk first in a microwave with some creamer and my wife was amazed how nice it worked and how easy it was to clean. We also have an expresso machine and we liked this frother a bit better as it was faster and so much easier to remove and clean it. Maybe a connoisseur would think we were crazy but that’s how we felt about it.
Next, I wanted to set up the timer so that we could wake up to the great smell of coffee and hopefully the great taste along with it. The timer was easy to set up (there is a video if you need help) and the next day our wishes were answered. The coffee smell filled the house and the taste was exquisite. This is why I bought this coffee maker in the first place and was thrilled with this third test.
A big bonus was, in my opinion, in making iced coffee. I was not expecting a whole lot; but what I got was a great glass of iced coffee. Again, I am not an expert but I swear it tasted just like the coffee my daughters spend all their allowances on (believe me they get more than that) at a famous coffee chain store. To me it was better, cheaper and I make it all the time now.
The last test was done awhile ago, but my wife just did it again this morning. The separate water dispenser is great and she loves to make tea with it. She made some this morning and was excited to tell me that the water temperature was perfect.
As to my first experience with the Ninja that had a slight leak at the top, it was hard to send back. However, Amazon sent me a replacement that almost passed the other one in shipping. I was amazed at how fast they took care of the return; and the replacement works perfect and no leaking at the top.
There are not many items that I purchase that I have an issue with that I ask for a replacement. As a matter of fact, I do not remember any that I have replaced lately. But with the Ninja Dual Brew, I had no problem asking for a replacement instead of a refund. It is that good; and I hope that it lasts because it does everything one could ask for and everything it does is top of the line in my opinion.

This coffee maker seems really fancy and like it could be the answer to everything. (Except now they have one that makes espresso too. Where was that five months ago?!?)
I am basing this review off the fact that I bought a refurbished machine like a dumba$$ so I could save $60 or $70 or whatever it was. It’s dead after five months. At first it wouldn’t brew k cups (it wouldn’t register the adapter was in there) and now it won’t register anything. It’s a lump of plastic on my counter. (Well it’s in the garage because I can’t live without a coffee maker). SOMETIMES it will come to life in carafe style and brew half a pot manually before it dies but I need that for the delay setting (which doesn’t work).
Ninja’s warranty isn’t transferable and the company who refurbishes the machine is supposed to warranty it for six months but they’re ignoring my emails (*gasp*. /s)
I think the fanciness of it allows for too many pieces to break. When people talk about their “good old Mr Coffee machine lasting decades” part of that is because there isn’t anything fancy in there TO break.
So, buy at your own risk. Know it might not last long. Get the extended warranty if you want. It’s a decent machine and I really liked the 4oz coffee option. I used that a LOT and I miss it. But ooof it hurts that this lasted five months.
TLDR: coffee tastes good/ great. Machine broke after five months and I’m out the money. Get the warranty.

After a great deal of debate and googling on what to buy to replace our dead Keureg and our 14 cup Cuisnart with one system, we settled on the Ninja 305. It is engineered to fit my needs and well made, it arrived fairly quickly, and came with an instruction manuel for a quick start. The only drawback is that you can’t, as far as I know, adjust the water temperature or coffee strength for a 6 oz cup of coffee.

I don’t know why I waited so long to make this purchase. It is super easy to use, even if you’re not very gadget savvy. Everything comes apart for easy cleaning. Coffee made in the carafe stays hot for a very long time, which is super amazing as there is no burner underneath. This is the best coffee pot I ever bought and I bought 2 of these. One as a Xmas gift for my niece and her hubby last year and this one for myself. Buy it, you won’t regret it. Ninja has remade my morning ritual.

Perfect dual coffee maker. My mother loves the kcup use of it and i love the coffee brewing part of it. I’ve been making specialty coffees with the milk frother and it’s so delicious. I mix a little bit of milk with some creamer and it just turns out so good. Better than going to a coffee store. It’s easy to clean, and easy to learn to use.

Me encantó.

This coffee maker brings Starbucks or Dunkin to me. I love the frother, I love all the different settings, and I think the kcup v. full or half pot settings is divine because sometimes my husband and I can’t agree on a coffee flavor. This is easy to use, clear instructions, pours much better than a traditional carafe, and has been very easy to clean. We have upped our coffee game quickly by switching to this from a Mr. Coffee machine.

This is the best coffee maker I’ve ever had. The espresso is delicious and a great addition. I wish the frother had a steam option but that is my only complaint. It fits under my counters. It easy to use and the delay start is a wonderful feature for my habitually late mornings. Even my husband who hasn’t loved coffee since finding out he couldn’t have dairy loves the espresso/lungos it makes. It’s amazing how much better coffee taste when it is properly brewed.
