Had it for 6 weeks before water output tube clogged with coffee grindsGreat, inexpensive kcup coffee maker. Plan to take it on our road trip. I use it for the ad hoc cup in between the morning coffee pots. Love the brew basket for making custom blends, although you do get fine grounds in the bottom of your coffee cup. But, the honeymoon was over after 6 weeks when it would only drip water in the cup. Many thanks to K.Bahm’s review about cleaning the rubber water tube going to the piercing nozzle. Plugged with coffee grounds. Removed tube and blew out with compressed air. Works fine again but I don’t like the idea of having to do this every 6 weeks.

Loved it till it brokeI loved this little coffeemaker- coffee was hot, not warm; it brewed quickly; flavor was great; it was compact enough for a small counterspace; and best of all, there was an optional basket for brewing ground coffee which was just as tasty as the K-cup. HOWEVER, it broke after 6 months. Otherwise, it would be a 5-star review.

This thing is amazing!I rarely write reviews on products and typically just select the stars. This product was so worth my time to write a solid review! It is long but thorough and detailed! We bought this for a road trip hoping it would be easy to travel with. It was such a great price that I was worried it would be cheaply made. I could not have been more wrong! It was so perfect! It is easy to clean, very light and compact, and is so easy to transition between coffee, tea, and K-cups to fit the tastes of my family, as well as cup sizes! It is so quick and easy to clean that we could transition between drinks with absolutely no fuss! There is nothing easier than having a coffee maker that you can use from the back seat of the car parked on the side of the road on a road trip! (We used an adapter cord to plug in the device to our cigarette lighter) Within a few moments we were drinking coffee, hot chocolate, and tea from our favorite travel cups!As another side note, it is quite durable and easy to pack back up without fear of it leaking or making a mess! (Now if only they would make a travel case for it, hint hint Chefman ;). The design is simple and sleek for those that are concerned about it being aesthetically pleasing. My mom is very petite and has arthritis in her hands and was able to use this with no trouble at all, and it was light enough for her to use without help. Even my 9 year old daughter was able to use easily (of course with supervision as the water gets quite hot!)We love this so much that we use it at home all the time, and it has replaced a certain other name brand K-cup device that took up 4 times the counter space 😉. We will be using this for years to come!Linds and family

Does BOTH!! in a small footprint!Great Single cup maker. It takes PODS and it makes one cup and adjusts for a thermos! AND take ground beans/drip coffee! All in ONE!! And it’s small and fits anywhere!!

Great one cup potThis single serve pot brews rather quickly, and the feature of being able to raise the platform is a plus. Great value for the price.

Filter you add your coffee too broke pretty quick and cant find replacementLove the coffee maker but also love to use my own coffee instead of pods, tough when i cant find replacement

Small, convenient, disposableI used my coffee maker for two weeks before the movable arms connection inside the lid, broke.

Loved this but stopped workingA little piece broke on my Keurig and couldn’t find a replacement part. Started back to the office so use it on the weekends and when I work from home so thought I could find a cheaper replacement. Wow! This takes up a quarter of counter space and is super easy to clean and use. Plus the water doesn’t sit in it which always worried me with the Keurig. The quality is a little less but I love that it easily handles your own coffee and pods.UPDATE: bought in May and it stopped working. Doesn’t work with pods. Ugh. Too frustrated to work on it now. Update #2: tried to make coffee using the reusable pod. Made 1/4 cup of coffee. I am so disappointed.

You will love this little coffee maker, but it needs to be cleaned every month or two.Very simple and space-saving design, and makes a good cup of coffee quickly. However, it seems to plug up after about a month and a half of use. I use the Costco K cup pods, and the flexible tube and puncturing needle eventually get plugged with coffee grounds. The tube comes off and goes back on easily for cleaning, but I imagine many of the people who complain about one that suddenly stops working have not taken it apart for cleaning. I have no idea how grounds get up into the needle, but it has happened twice during about 4 months of use.

clogged after 33 days – used twist tie to clear grounds from needle that punctures kcupUpdating my review due to reading feedback from K. Bahm below! I poked a twist tie into the needle that punctures the kcup and sure enough some coffee grounds came out. A few more times and more grounds came out. Not a significant amount, but clearly enough to clog this thing. After this I ran the unit with just water and it performed properly and found even more grounds in the bottom of my cup. It is working again! But not pleased that I will now have to expect to clear it regularly. At least I know what to do. Thanks K. Bahm!Original:Sorry I wasted my money on this purchase and adding it to the landfill so soon. Sleek and simple to use. Container for ground coffee has plastic hinge that will not last long before it breaks. But after only 33 days of not even daily use, it just sputters and spurts and only heats a fraction of the water added to it.
