Love the easy push level dispenser. The water does not come out too strong where it could cause splashing. Easy to clean and the magnetic power connector at the back is convenient meaning no need to look for the prongs when connecting! I’d recommend this product.

This is the second one we have bought. The first one is so good until now, but this one still has strong plastic smell even after we have used it almost two years. Every day we hope the unhealthy smell maybe will disappear tomorrow, but it always disappointed us. In fact, we are so worried whether the strong plastic taste will damage our health, especially our children’s health. We strongly hope Amazon can give us an explanation and the way to solve this issue since we are a long customer and have bought so many things through Amazon.

I would highly recommend buying this item, which is made in Japan, instead of one of the cheaper Chinese made ones. The quality is SO much better; a tighter fitting a lid (so there’s less evaporation through the seal), a magnetic Power cord (for safety), a better level indicator, and more.

What I like best about this electric kettle is that it is more like an electric thermos. There is a lot of insulation with this kettle and once the water is boiled it will maintain the temperature with very little electricity. If you have two cups of tea, or warm water a day you will save money on electricity using this kettle.

This is my 2nd one, the 1st one didn’t break down but the lining was Turing brown from heating water all day long in highest heat level. I decide to purchase new one after my dad passed away. We had such great use with the 1st one and my dad loves his hot package coffee throughout his day. We drink tea and coffee throughout the day so it is nice to have hot water ready at anytime.

I’ve had a few Zojirushi water boilers in the past and found they would fail for various reasons, now it does take about 5 years of daily use but wanted to try another trusted brand in Tiger.
I do find the Tiger boiler to be similar in major features that most would use such as various temperature modes, LCD display, non stick interior, sleek exterior. We do use the water boiler daily for tea, coffee, noodles, etc… and it was easy to switch to the Tiger brand. Here are a few features that drew us to this water boiler:
-Large dispense lever that is clearly coloured and marked. I found this was easier to use that the all same looking button style on the Zojirushi.
-detachable lid which makes cleaning easier, most of my Zojirushi models did not have this option
-slightly less cost over the other brand
So far, so good. Great design, have all the major features I need for daily use. Great product so far!

Dear Tiger,
My mom had the Zijorushi(not sure if I spelled it correctly) water heater and I needed something to heat up my water that I use for my Tazo bagged tea. This thing is built like a tank and has a large capacity. My wife and I were using a 1L Mr. coffee water heater before for tea but it was small and after 2 or 3 pours, we had to refill the tank. The Mr. Coffee heater broke after being used for a number of years so we decided to upgrade. This water heater is 5L and it is a beast. I originally wanted the white version but the wife did not like the color so she chose the black one. This one.
This heats up real quick and it keeps the contents super hot. It has a lock which would prevent children from accidentally pouring the extremely hot water on themselves. The fail-safe is nice to have. You just need to press the unlock button before you hit the pour button.
I have no complaints about this unit and I will update my review after a few months of use when I have learned everything about it. Thanks in advance for reading.

We’ve started using a French Press to make coffee so I kicked our 12 year old Mr. Coffee machine to the curb. This thing heats water quickly, and holds it to the preset temperature. We even use it for tea, oatmeal, ramen, or anything else we would have normally nuked water to make. It’s well built, easy to fill, and the magnetic power cord is a nice touch.
