I got this as a gift for my spouse and they completely love it!! If you are using an old fashion kettle on the stove and want something easier and faster, this is the product for you! If you are looking to do much more professional or fancy coffee like a v60 coffee, I would look for one with full temp control, not this. But my spouse uses this for tea and before this, they drank tea about 3 times a month and now it’s to about twice a day. Also helps it’s getting into the colder seasons too.

Pretty decent kettle a little on the noisy side but overall good.

This is a good item , well better than my last one. I like that this is made primarily of glass . My last two kettles were made of plastic and I prefer to stay away from plastic as much as possible because of how toxic it it.
Plastic is made of chemicals , and those chemicals get into every bit of the food and drinks that you consume. Plastics are also introduced into the human body by so many other means , and they are all poisoning you . Just take a look at how many swishy frogs are out there , and how many boys named johnny or jimmy suddenly get the urge to cut their marbles off and want to be called connie and kimmy. Yes, that is also caused by the toxic effects of plastics. Save the frogs and quit using plastics.
I have simple needs , and basically all I wanted is a cup of hot tea. There are times when I don’t have the time , or I’ll admit , am being lazy and don’t want to fire up the stove and use my metallic kettle to boil water . I’ll use this glass kettle .

Wasn’t expecting the tea kettle to light up, but it does and it is very pretty. And, of course, it does all the stuff that a kettle is supposed to do. The only downside is the lid. It has a button in the center that is supposed to pop up a section of the lid when you press it. I think that the henge of the lid has warped with heat, (it is plastic), and it takes many forceful jabs of the finger to get the button to pop anymore.

This is the BOMB! It heats water faster than a stovetop all day long! It makes noise by heating the water (not a bad thing) which I love because I’m always forgetting I’m boiling water on the stove and have boiled pots dry and I love auto shut off for safety. You will not be disappointed!

This works just as it says it does. It’s boils water quickly and efficiently and while it is on it does have a blue light that lights up the water while it is on and heating up the water. I use this all the time at work to heat up water for my tea and I’m sure in the winter I will have hot cocoa but I intend to use this going forward until I have a problem with it

Looks good at first, but novelty wore off, no reheat function, which means got to wait until kettle completely cools down before it will turn back on again, so if not enough water in kettle for 2 or 3 cups, and you add more water even if cold water , still waiting a good 5 mins before you can turn back on.
Blue light , stopped working after 10 days, won’t be buying another one like this when this kettle packs up, or the limescale kills it.

Had this for a little over a year now, saw the mixed reviews on some of it mentioning issues with heating or lid issues, was concerned…over all, seemed decent for what I needed, so I picked one up, mainly due to a room mates habit of leaving the stove on when making water for various things…and I like the odd cup of cocoa.
A little over a year later? Gets extensive use 2-3 times a day, no issues. Shuts off when done ( or forgotten by others, thank goodness ) never takes more then a few moments to heat. Love it! One of the best investments and will never go back to a stove top kettle!

This is a sturdy electric kettle with a solid base, doing the job exactly as it’s supposed to do it. It’s a little hard to get your hand inside to clean it but it’s absolutely not a deal breaker. I had to buy a new one after smashing it with a cast iron pan accidentally — that was a rough forty-eight hours waiting for the new one to show up. I love this thing.

Compared to a kettle on the stove this is magic. You don’t have to worry about leaving the stove on or the water boiling too much cause the kettle will automatically turn off once the water has started to boil. You don’t need to sit around waiting because within minutes the water is boiled. You can just flip it on and it starts to boil. The glass does get hot so only hold it by the handle.
