I don’t like the new design where you have to stick the pitcher under the reservoir sideways instead of sticking the poor spout into the reservoir container. However it’s a minor detail and I still like my tea maker. I make tea practically every day. So I really need my tea maker.

This contraption of a brewing tea system does the job nicely and conveniently but there’s one major flaw in the system is that it’s incapable of extracting a complete brewing of the teabags. The manual recommends of putting 6-8 teabags, and so I put the maximum number of teabags which is 8 in the filter basket. To my disappointment, the amount water of didn’t completely brew or extract the flavor from all 8 teabags. So I ended up transferring the remaining teabags into the pot on the stove to extract more flavor from it. The result was it still has plenty of brewing left as the tea was quite dark. Next time, I will put 4 instead of 8 teabags as I will lay them flat to fill up the entire filter basket instead of stacking on top on one of the other which is a major reason why it didn’t get a full brewing.

I make a pitcher of tea almost every day. I like this model because the tea bag does not go in the tea maker. The tea bag goes in the lid of the tea pitcher. This makes cleaning a breeze.

Use to have a 3quart and it lasted forever! When I decided to replace it I had no idea they stopped making 3 quart and replaced it with 2qt. It’s small when making tea for family but still it makes great tea. Not sure it’s really worth it due to the small size.

Love this thing. I will pay itself off in 3 months. I make tea at home and it is just as good as buying the gallons of tea at my local grocery store

We love the easy use of the tea maker. We are on our 3rd one, however the problem is the pitchers suck. They always crack. We just bought our 3rd one about 2 months ago and we just had to throw it away because the pitcher cracked. Unfortunately buying a whole new appliance and pitcher is cheaper than trying to buy a replacement pitcher. Would love to know how to get a replacement pitcher only.

I have used this every day for nearly two months and have not had any issues. I highly recommend this product! I usually don’t write reviews but given there were a few bad reviews on here I felt it was necessary. I don’t know what anyone could complain about. It checks all the boxes: ease of use, easy to clean, quick delivery, affordable and so far, reliable. Above all, it makes excellent iced tea!

the carafe breaks if you look at it wrong, or drop it in the sink too hard. the OG style basket with the release valve was much better, but it’s not available anymore. need availability on new carafes that don’t cost more than buying a whole new unit.

Home brewed tea is far more healthy than mass produced canned.

Parcel arrived in great condition and on time. First time buying an ice tea maker, the price of the Mr Coffee is reasonable and it makes a great pitcher of sweet/ iced tea. I highly recommend.
