Very sharp, good craftsmanship, feels good in my hand. The only negative thing I would say is that it’s heavier than I expected it to be, closer to a small cleaver than a veggie knife.

A superlative full tang knife. The damascus patterning is not etched, but visible. Wonderfully sharp. Well pleased. Heavy knife, and will NOT adhere well to a magnetic knife rack. Good feel in hands. Like it was made for them. If you buy this knife, know you are buying a quality product.

I tested the sharpness of this knife by cutting paper. It cut with ease. Cut an orange and lemons for lemon water, the knife did well. They state the knife is made from Japanese steel yet the knife is made in China. It is a fantastic knife with great balance but the failure to explain how it was made in China with Japanese steel cost it a star.

I needed a smaller knife for vegitables or smaller meats, where I found this one, where I love the japanese steel and this one was so beautiful to the eye too. I really was happy with the whole knife. The blade is flawless, very very very sharp, and it just slices through anything perfectly. The handle is so smooth and very comfortable to hold, and it is weight perfectly for cutting. The blade is one piece to the hilt of the handle. Its hard to no want to slide the blade back and forth, where this one will just glide straight down through whatever I’m cutting. It was really had to explain how nice these are with just pics, so I did a short video to show. The knife also is slim enough to fit into a wood block for storage or it goes up into my cutting board just prefectly too. No cons, one of the most beautiful blades that I have come accross that works perfectly, where I am very happy with the purchase.

When this first arrived, the weight of the knife kind of surprised me because its a little heavier than some of my other butcher knives. However, the handle is very ergonomically comfortable and fits in my hand perfectly. When it comes to cutting, whether I’m cutting meat or anything else, this knife cuts through it like nothing. When slicing into a banana, it slices it without smashing the banana because it cuts through the peel like nothing. When it comes to oranges, it slices though without having to saw through the peel. With something hard and dense like raw carrots, it dices through them with complete ease without launching them across the counter. Even when it comes to slices raw or cooked meat, it just cuts through as if I was slicing through a hard stick of butter. This knife is super sharp and I just love the design that is on the blade. It is really sharp and I always make sure that I have the sheath on because it will and cut.

seriously sharp knife will take your finger off… wanted to show my wife what a sharp knife was like…. so i had her test it out on carrots… on very first slight push it just fell thought the carrot.. and this big ole smile just came on her face… so thats win.
