Product should have printed on it what sharpening slot is for straight edge or the serrated edge knife sharpening… instruction sheets get lost.

For ages I have been looking for something decent to sharpen scissors, and knives. I have used sharpening stones, steels, little fiddly things I have found on here BUT this is perfect. So happy as I was trying to buy ANOTHER pair or scissors now I do not have to. Highly recommended.

So this thing works really well but the only complaint I have is that it’s so little that you have to pull VERY SLOWLY and at the perfect straight angle for it to work correctly. If you pull to quickly or at the wrong angle it will cause the blade to slip out of orientation and might get you or your table cut to shreds. If your knife tapers down at the tip, which most knives do, it’s prone to slip which causes issues as mentioned above. If you go slow, really slow, and keep the knife steady, it does a pretty good job. If you try to pull it through at a normal pace you’re gonna have issues. The suction force is extremely strong. The sharpeners work well. For keeping an edc or kitchen knife sharp it does well. For any high-end knife I’d stay away and stick to wet stones.

Suction cup works great. The case makes it so that it’s close enough to the edge that the blade doesn’t Nick the counter top. It has taken my old knives to a new extreme edge. My favorite knife now slices through a sweet potato with ease

The suction is subpar, always be ready for it to come loose. It takes a while to sharpen but can do it mindlessly and I may be trying for too much of an edge.

This sharpener removes metal from the knife blade. Over time you will notice the reduction of metal. Also, make sure to empty the metal ‘shavings’ into the trash after each use and clean the knife to make sure there isn’t any residual metal.

This item was great. Small, suction works amazingly well. Shapens knifes quickly and very well. Great item
Weather Man? –
I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of set up and use. The suction securement was slightly stiff, but once activated did exactly what it was supposed to do. The knives became sharper with three pulls.

I had an old, dull knife set that I was able to make sharp again! It’s barely noticeable but some of the edges are a little jagged or uneven but some of that is likely do tp my technique. I added a little water to the suction as I read elsewhere and I was able to sharpen 12 dull knives with no problem.
Pros: Fast and easy to use.
Cheap
Small
Gets the knives really sharp
Cons: Not clear instructions on how to use the scissor sharpener
Knives arent left with a perfect edge
Note: as I was gently brushing away some of the metal shavings off a knife, using the rough green part of a sponge, it sliced right through it with so much ease that it sliced my thumb and I had to go to the ER. So I gave it another star.

We purchased this sharpener to replace a Cuisinart electric sharpener. I figured I would try this one since it was very inexpensive. To my surprise, we were able to sharpen all of our knives and scissor’s, back to like new. Its definitely worth trying!!
