ACHTUNG!
Bitte Amazon schnell reagieren. Ich muss es nun wohl als Lektion des Lebens hinnehmen.

A lot of years ago I bought one of those countertop knife sharpeners. You know the kind, it has grinding wheels in it and you pull a knife through and it sharpens both sides at the same time. It made a lot of noise but it never did sharpen a knife very well so I gave up and started using a “professional” knife sharpener. They charged me between $5 and $10 per knife but they did an excellent job.
Recently I gathered up about 10 knifes that needed sharpening and thought that I was about to spend around $100. But, my guy went out of business so I started doing some research. I watched some YouTube videos and learned that with the proper equipment sharpening a knife isn’t exactly rocket science. After more research I settled on this sharpener. It was on Prime and I bought it during Prime Days so I got an extra 5% off. Even at its usual price it wasn’t a bad deal.
After watching a few more YouTube videos and the instructions that came with the sharpener I went for it. My first knife was a very old, very dull kitchen knife that I wouldn’t miss if I completely screwed it up. Before I started the sharpening process I tried cutting paper with the knife. Seriously, the back side of a butter knife was sharper.
I ran the knife through five times on both sides and repeated the paper cutting test. All I can say is, Wow. That old, dull, unusable knife was near razor sharp. With my confidence up I did another five knifes that day. I did the paper cutting test on each of them before and after and I’m very pleased with the results. By the end of the week I sharpened 12 knifes from pocket knifes to chopping knifes and everything in between. I still have a few more to do but I’ve already more than justified the cost of this sharpener.

I tried a bunch of different sharpening methods. Oil stones, wet stones, tri stone, and the Lansky system. With stones I had to finally admit to myself that I’m just not good at sharpening knives. The lansky worked well but took a lot of time and patience.
With the work sharp my knives are sharper than I have ever been able to get them and it takes no time at all. After practicing on a few junk knives it was pretty easy to get the hang of it. You can shave with all of my knives now. Easy and amazing results don’t hesitate, it’s worth it!!

Believe it or not i keep this thing in my car. i cant tell you how many times i go to family or friends houses and their knives are awful! i say, “that i just so happen to have left my sharpener in the car, would you like them sharpened?” People are so grateful!!! and it only takes me 5 minutes for a handful of knifes to give them a completely new edge. Yes i’m a real person, yes i bought this with my own money, no i’m not being refunded or compensated. yes this thing works as good or better than advertised. I’m really impressed. If you’re on the fence, buy it.

The item itself is brilliant! Amazing for my kitchen knifes and tools… Shame people aren’t doing their research or grasping that because it’s made in the USA you need to buy a transformer for about £22 for it to work. The item works on 110V and the transformer (looks like an adapter) lowers the voltage from our mains which works on 240V to 110V so it can be plugged in and work! Definitely worth it!

I have tried many sharpening tools for my kitchen knives. Whetstones need skill, which I seem to lack, ATK recommended electric sharpener does not do a good job. I am glad I found this. They have a beginner’s guide video on their website that I found helpful. This sharpener is easy to use and does the job. No more dull knives.

I was looking for a knife sharpener that was easy to use and produced a good sharp edge to our knifes. But I also wanted a sharpener that my wife and daughters could use as well. I received this item and tried it out on a large kitchen knife and was very impressed with the results. I asked my daughters to try it out and the loved the ease and results so much that they grabbed every kitchen knife in the house and sharpened them.
I highly recommend this product.

This sharpener has incremental advances over the original; I used the original sharpener for around a decade. It is simple, affordable, and will sharpen anything from my wife’s treasured kitchen knives to my riding mower blades. It is simple, repeatable, and puts a great edge on nearly any tool you can imagine. The videos are instructive, but you can just use it out of the box and hardly go wrong. I’ve had issues trying to contact the company about some minor issues, but I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants an easy way to put a perfect edge on his or her tools.

I’ve had this sharpener for a year now and I still use it at least several times a month. I’ve purchased other sharpeners through the years and so far I’m very satisfied with this one. I also purchased the extra replacement belts which I highly recommend because the belts don’t last very long in my opinion. The belt that seems to wear the fastest is the 6000 grit belt, purple. Overall this sharpener keeps my knives as sharp as when they came from the factory. This is very easy to use, especially how this sharpener keeps your blade at the correct angle when sharpening so you don’t have to guess how to hold your knife when sharpening.

I have used wet stones, Spyderco’s sharpening system and kitchen knife rod sharpeners, none can compare to the ease and effectiveness of this sharpener. Had a moon shaped Ulu knife that had chucks taken out of the blade and I was able to correct the edge and sharpen it to razor level. Used it on my large chefs knives, pocket knives and small paring knives. No problems at all. Will be trying it on larger blades like mower, hedge shears etc. soon.
