Bought this 8 yrs ago (2014) and still a great cheese knifeI was using it today on cheese and was wondering where I got it, so found that I purchased on Amazon 2014 and thought I would pop in and say, it has been a really good knife. The thing I really like about it too is that no matter how thin the slice is the two points at the end always pick up the cheese. Great knife, and for $10 just buy it.

Better Than A Steak Knife!I’m not a kid anymore, and I have spent my entire life using whatever knife is handy when I have cut cheese. I finally tired of struggling with my cuts, so I knew Amazon would have a solution. This is a game changing knife. It’s akin to slicing butter using this knife with cheese. It’s ergonomically comfortable, it’s well made, the rivets are tight, and it’s inexpensive.I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Love this knife!I have given this knife as gifts and people love it. Great for tomatoes, cheese, hard boiled eggs and anything that sticks to your knife. I highly recommend this knife!

Works great to cut cheese.I killed my old smaller cheese knife so decided to buy a sturdier one. This works great! I have just used it for cheese.

I love it!It does exactly what it is supposed to do it! I always have to look for the perfect knife to cut my tomatoes and this one does the job along with cutting onions

Makes slicing cheese easierBought this knife to slice cheddar cheese. Makes it easier so therefore safer to slice brick of cheese. Because of its shape it gets cheese in the blade. Not a big deal, but be careful to clean it thoroughly.

Great slicer!I love this cheese knife so much I bought a second one! It slices like a dream with a useful, skeletonized blade. Cheese sticking is a thing of the past. I can accurately make very thin slices, too. The size and weight are perfect, fitting very comfortably in my hand. It has excellent quality construction and I look forward to a lifetime of use.

Almost perfect, just one little bit of discomfort when slicingMy first experience with a knife like this was when my hubby and I lived in China. I had bought a knife like this from a vendor and it was a total game-changer. When we moved back to the US, I wasn’t able to bring it with me. I was really bummed and was determined to replace it. I found this one and the reviews seemed pretty good, so I bought it. Now, bear in mind that my immediate and natural tendency was to compare it to the perfect one that I’d had to leave behind in Beijing. This one — it’s ok. I mean, it cuts well and is really easy to control. The only thing I don’t like about it is the little curved place hear the tip. When you are cutting, this little curved place is an ideal place for you to use your opposite hand (I use my left thumb) to help apply even pressure from both sides. My old one (the one I had to abandon) was very comfortable becs it seems that the metal was somewhat rounded so it didn’t feel uncomfortable when you were pressing down. But this one — the top edge seems to be a little more square, the edges a little more severe, so it is marginally uncomfortable when you’re pressing down. It’s a small thing, true. But if you are cutting a lot of cheese like for a party tray or big dinner or something, it could start hurting after a bit. But if you are just cutting a few pieces for a sandwich or recipe or something, then this is just fine. It’s 2 minutes out of your life that won’t matter.Overall, I’m glad I bought it and I’m happy with it. That one little thing is the only thing I’d change about the design.
