A nice looking setDespite spending the last 39 years as an ardent fan of cheese I’ve managed to make it this far in life having never owned a set of cheese knives. I decided it was time to rectify that oversight, and I think I picked pretty well. This is a nice looking set. The knives look great beside the immense mountain of cheese my wife insists I couldn’t possibly eat all by myself (she’s been wrong every time). We’re not talking heirloom quality, but for the price this is an attractive set.I couldn’t say what the different styles of blade are for, but I’ve found the long, thin knife ideal for cleanly slicing the fairly soft Gouda available in my area. The other three are a little hit and miss (I’m sure I’m just slicing the wrong type of cheese), but I’d say the set is worth it just for the thin blade.
