Every basic kitchen should have measuring spoonsUnless you’re the YouTube culinary comedian-critic Uncle Roger who advocates “just use your ‘feelings’ (LOL!) when adding cooking ingredients… every basic kitchen should have good measuring spoons. This set is no-nonsense, good-sized & made of stainless steel of reasonable-thickness (gauge), so the spoons don’t bend when you measure out ingredients. (This set replaces an old set of Ekco aluminum spoons that *did* bend & break over time. I’m semi-kicking myself for not buying these steel ones sooner. Could’ve saved me years of annoyance with the old set.) Basic & utilitarian as can be. Definitely a good purch, for under $5.

tired of the numbers rubbing off the plastic onesso I bought 2 sets of these for house and RV because the number kept rubbing off the plastic ones we owned. Just like mom use to have….

Great measuring spoons with a tiny glitchI really like these metal measuring spoons. They are accurate and of good quality. My shipment came promptly and I had no problem with the delivery. The only thing that was odd was that the 1 teaspoon measurement had no label on it. The other measuring spoons on the ring had the measurement etched into the handle of the measuring spoon, but not the one teaspoon. It is not a deal breaker for me so I am still happy as they came at a good cost.

Not What They Used To BeThey still get the job done, but I can tell they won’t last long. The metal is cheap and flimsy. Maybe it wouldn’t matter if I didn’t just recently have to retire the ones I bought in 1980, which were doing just fine until the grandkids dropped two down the garbage disposal. The comparison is pretty bad, and not on the part of this seller.

Not accurateI read other reviews about the spoons not being accurate, but thought it was a fluke. The 1/2 tsp. held much less than 1/2 tsp. Returned.
