I bought one about twenty years ago and it is still going, the only thing is the paint is peeling off and rust steps in, so I bought this one, it is a little lighter than the old one, you have to be careful when placing on the counter, it tends to slide easily but it works fine, I am happy.

I use two of these in Physics demonstrations. I put an aluminum track across and zero the displays (the tare knob has 1 kg of adjustment). Then I put weights on acart and pull it along the track with a string. The display is readable in a large lecture hall and the balances are reasonably accurate. I also find them useful around the demo room for general weighing.

If you need to weigh something less than 2 lbs, then this is the scale for you.
A very nice kitchen scale for the price. Its well constructed and can be zeroed easily.
The accuracy is good…, a 12 oz bag of chips weighted in at just a tad over 12oz.
Now I can get evenly weighted freezer bag portions of hamburger, fish…,etc, for my family of four.
(no more short bags which means I get the smaller portion)
Only con is the blue decal in the center of the dial is rotated just a bit… no big deal.
I’m very happy with the scale and I recommend it.

So far, so good. This scale seems to be tough enough to deal with my studio use (for clay purposes) and was fairly easy to assemble (without any accompanying instructions). Aside from the attachment of the weighing platform, everything else is ready to go, right out of the box. My scale was packaged very carefully and the box in which the scale was contained was also wrapped with bubble wrap for added protection.

This Scale is so durable, Been using this since last 6 years and it’s still as it is. Accurate, durable and great scale overall.

This scale is great, I have had it over a year now. It cleans up nicely, seems to be built well, isn’t too heavy, adjusts real nicely if needed, (so far I just adjusted once upon arrival to my house and it has stayed in adjustment) reads good pounds and ounces and I use it often. I like the size too. It sits out on my counter but I suppose it would be fine to put it away in the cabinet and get it back out when needed. I would reccomend this scale.

IT WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO PUT THE SCREWS UNDER THE TOP PLATE BUT AFTER 1/2 HOUR IT WAS ACCOMPLISHED. IT IS WHAT I WANTED JUST WASN’T EXPECTING TO PUT SCREWS IN SUCH A TIGHT SPACE.
