This scale is very easy to use,to clean, and is as accurate as any kitchen scale that I’ve used !
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact scale.

Yeah, i know i bought a cheap scale and you get what you pay for. But this scale is very cheap and if you need to do very precise measurements, invest the money in something more sensitive. This is good for general weights, but for very specific measurements, like in many baking recipes, don’t bother. Spend the $50 and get yourself a good scale

I thought it was not a good quality item and I didn’t feel the mess would be very accurate
Gwen –
Not good for baking as ticks are only every 200g. Should have ordered a 1-2 pound scale.

Not really sturdy, but it does the job for me.

GC stands for “Good Cook.” Meaning the el cheapo brand you can find at local grocery stores and wallyworld. That’s not a complaint, just an observation.
Two actual complaints: the thing has a large footprint. The domed “flying saucer” shape means it takes up a ton of room in drawers or cabinets. The means to zero or tare the scale should be simple enough: the body rotates around the mechanism to line up the measuring scale with the needle. Unfortunately, it’s never clear what you’re supposed to grab onto to make it rotate in relation to the base.
Otherwise the scale works fine. It’s good enough in terms of accuracy for an analog scale (you can estimate down to about an oz). The included measuring bowl is sturdy enough, or you can just lay a plate across the top. Definitely fine for a bargain scale to use once in a blue moon.
