Terrible Angle!I own and love the
Orka 10-Inch Stainless and Silicone Basting Brush
. So I purchased this longer model. Sadly, this one has such a funny curved bend to the handle, it is awkward and takes up too much space in a drawer. Where the
Orka 10-Inch Stainless and Silicone Basting Brush
has a slight angle and its bristles aren’t overly flexible, this one is way to floppy for my taste. It certainly has a good length for the BBQ, and someone would probably find the angle perfect for outside use and the necessary reach into a BBQ. I find its kitchen use clumsy though.

No more bristles on your barbeque.I received this order within a couple of days. I traditionally used a natural bristle brush for basting; however, after purchasing this baster I fell in love with it. It can carry a lot of sauce and you don’t have to worry about bristles left on your food. It’s great!

awkward and doesn’t work very wellI got this as a gift and finally gave it away. I guess the long curved handle might be good for the BBQ but it’s awkward to use and a pain in a drawer. And like one other silicone brush I have tried, it just doesn’t work very well because it doesn’t hold sauce like old fashioned bristles. I like the idea of a silicone basting brush ao just bought one of the reservoir style I saw on a cooking show – flat flaps in the middle with holes that are supposed to hold more liquid. Sounds like a good idea, we’ll see.

Nice qualityNice quality. Handle quite long, but will come in handy if I need it for barbecuing.

I love this brush! Fanatstic for BarBQI have has these for years and don’t know how I used other “natural” brushes before. This longer one is great for putting on BarBQ sauce on the grill, and the shorter one for spreading a little oil onto the fying pan for eggs etc. Absolutely wonderful. I use the dishwasher and hand washed them with no problems. The brush head was meant to be able to be taken off and put back for cleaning.
