Cheaply madeProduct is flimsy but for occasional use will probably be ok. Unit does not allow you to put a larger injection needed on the hub, only the small one that comes with the unit. Not practical as a large volume injector should be able to accommodate a longer (and better quality) needle such as those that come with the Ofargo marinade injector kit. Update: Product is useless. When I actually tried it on marinade meat injection it didn’t work. Returned

Needle broke after two uses, no replacements included or availableThe needle seems good if you have a viscous thing you are injecting but it is weak and will bend or break easily. I don’t fault them for that, I got a replacement at a co-op made for injecting livestock but that was a major hassle and there could have been a couple spare needles in the box.

So wanted but meh!I so wanted to believe Myron that this would beat the other syringe methods. But after first use had to finish cook prep with old syringe. A “piece” of black pepper got into the valve that switches needle from suction to push I guess. Had to tear down the entire injector which isn’t easy to access the valve behind where you attach needle. Had to poke, rinse, flush for 20-30 mins before the sediment came out. Then spent same amount of time putting the handle components back together to fit correctly. So if you use any marinade, broth, liquid, you must filter everything through a fine mesh filter like a flour sifter. I would have given one star if I wasn’t able to get back to working mode. When I do my next big cook, I’ll come back to maybe improve my review. But for now the syringe is very susceptible to plugging up.

broken needle first time using.I bought this to use for a pig roast. I just received it on Sunday. The needle broke off after doing part of the pig. the needle needs to be stronger. does anyone know if there are replacement needles for this injector? If not it has become a big waste of money for me.

poor qualitythe needle did not want to stay tight and the gasket on the plunger made the operation rough.

Impressed for the price. Not bad at all for the price, hand does get tired after injecting awhile but it is easier then constantly refilling the injection syringes and not have to worry about cross contamination.

Injector is fine, hose is too short. This works pretty good. My only complaint is the hose should be at least a foot longer. It keeps falling out of the brine jar. Stop being cheapskates and make the hose longer.

Great injector! So like the title says.. it’s a great injector. The only flaw was that you need to raise the jar that you have your marinade up. This is so that the marinade can flow down to the injector. Once I figured that out. It worked like a charm.
