The gasket that came with my $140 Avantco 7 lb. sausage stuffer broke the first time I tried to clean it, and the dealer did not sell replacement gaskets. The measurement looked about right on Amazon so I took a chance and ordered this as a replacement. It fits perfectly and works great in the stuffer. By the way, the sausage stuffer is great too, except for the gasket it comes with.

Fortunately, I already made my sausage, but snapped the original gasket while removing it for cleaning. LEM uses a true ‘O’ ring with ~5mm cross section. These replacements are a double-flanged gasket with a lightning bolt cross section. I took a gamble after reading a review that said ‘it worked well enough’ and lost. I voided any opportunity to return by trimming off the excess interior flanges on one of the pair to seat into the groove of the LEM plunger head. The end result was too loose to stay in place and would just roll out when attempting to press into the empty cylinder. I will continue to look for a LEM replacement.

I needed some spare “O” rings for a Chinese sausage stuffer from Rural King. These appeared to be a match from the description. Overall they are round and the right diameter but the cross section of the gasket is not round. You can’t see the profile of the gasket on the pictures provided on Amazon. Now I have the hassle of returning them.
