Sometimes you want the best for your kitchen – sometimes you just want something serviceable that won’t break the bank. We usually have nice cuts of meat in our home, but every once in a while the sirloin are irregular shaped, and I need to flatten them so as to obtain even cooking. Sure you can use a mallet, but that crushes tissue. I thought these tenderizers were too good to be true for the money, but I love a bargain so I thought I’d give ’em a try. With just a few uses, they seem very sturdy and work quickly. The meat became much more even without crushing it unnecessarily. With just a few strokes you can make any meat more flavorful with marinades that can get deeper inside instead of just sitting on the surface. These should work well for jerky preparation or getting that fresh venison even more tender and tasty. They shipped promptly and come in a sturdy, reusable carton. If something works, why pay more?

Couldn’t believe I got two for the price of one. I was kinda afraid they would not be as sturdy as my old one. They are just as good. My boyfriend who loves to cook had never tried one, he says those things are amazing and makes it so easy.

I had just one purpose for this kitchen appliance at the time of purchase; to puncture pig skin and provide holes in the skin. I now can see where I went wrong. The protrusions, or blades if you will, could not punch holes in pig skin but would work very well in tenderizing meat with no barrier such as leathery, raw pig skin. i am sure there will be other uses I can explore in the future and will be keeping this tool

Very easy to use as well as being safe. Spring is strong enough to keep guide down to prevent injury until use. Punctures meat easily for tenderization and for allowing any seasonings used to be absorbed deep for optimal flavor. Fantastic product and very dependable. Was received quickly and packaged well.
