One of Rösle’s superb kitchen tools, this 7.8-inch tool has a 2.7-inch cutting wheel honed to a sharp edge so it neatly slices as it rolls through a pizza. Like all Rösle tools, utensils, and Open Kitchen storage components, the opener is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The round handle has a satin finish to conceal fingerprints. It’s sealed against water and has a hanging ring so the pizza cutter can be conveniently stored on a hook in Rösle’s Open Kitchen system of basic rails and grid walls–or hung on any hook or peg. The pizza cutter is sturdy, balanced, and exceptionally comfortable in the hand. All Rösle products dishwasher-safe, and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. –Fred Brack

Looks totally coolI’ve only used it once, but I give it 5 stars for looks! It’s a weird, cool pizza cutter. It has a nice, really sharp circular blade that cuts very nice. As far as practicality, there is one drawback; the blade clearance at the bottom is only 11mm, so if your crust and toppings are greater than 11mm, the body of the cutter will press down on the top of the pizza. This is a slight problem with toppings getting squashed or moved as you roll the cutter along. This isn’t a showstopper, but a consideration since the cutter gets messier and would probably be a problem if you eat thick crust pizza. I used it on a homemade flatbread which was about 25mm thick. I like this pizza cutter for it’s looks. This may be one of the few times I will follow my spouse’s buying philosophy; fashion over function… Bon Appetit.

Well made but could be sharperThis pizza cutter is really made. However, it’s not as sharp as I’d like it to be. Therefore it’s a 4/5 star product in my book

Good Concept, Flawed ExecutionOverall I like this product. I have several pizza cutters and this one is by far the most efficient. It will slice through anything in its path effortlessly. The problem is in the design of the housing. Most of the tool is made from stainless steel, but the one place that actually undergoes some stress when opening the housing to clean the blade is made from the flimsiest bit of plastic. It broke the first time I opened it for cleaning. Thankfully the casing will still stay closed, but it would be so simple to design the hinge with a metal rather than plastic retainer. It wouldn’t add more than a few cents to the cost of manufacturing and would make the tool infinitely more durable. This is just shoddy design, such a shame.

Not quite the pizza cutter I was looking forIt’s not quite as awesome as I expected for the money I spent (roughly 40.00) I was tired of crummy store bought cutters and wanted something like I had growing up or that I bought for my brother from a local craftsman. The one I had growing up was a large wheel with a wooden handle. When I worked in pizza we had strong plastic handled cutters that were at an angle and lastly the one I bought for my brother was a long curved bladed cutter with a wooden handle on top. I can get a wooden one but the quality and reviews on Amazon were poor. I don’t want a plastic handled one and the one I bought for my brother was more than double the price of this product (but it works awesome and looks wicked sick 🙂 ) So I went with this. This is why I’m not impressed:It’s mildly complicated to take apart as the device is kept together by a piece of plastic near the blade. Turning it requires a little bit of effort till you figure it out. This also makes it a little annoying to clean. Like any pizza wheel it gets gunk in there as to be expected but annoying never the less.Cutting.. I cut my first pizza and pressed down to cut like normal and it literally moved the whole pizza off the cardboard. I tried 3 more times and I don’t know if that particular crust was under cooked or if the wheel was so sharp it was going into the cardboard but cutting a pizza shouldn’t be *that* much of a learning experience when you’re in your late 30s. This isn’t a new experience for me.My other half tried cutting a pizza as well with out me even discussing any of this about a week and a half later and also complained that its complicated to use. I guess as I don’t eat pizza more than once every 10 to 15 days I won’t really know how much I like it till the return policy is past. If the seller has feedback I’m open to hearing it.

Just OK. Was hoping for moreThe good:It has a very sharp and large diameter blade which I liked. The ergonomics of it is very comfortable to use.The bad:The inner diameter of the blade is rather small, making it difficult to cut deeper pizzas.Inside the body gets messy with food, and you’d have to open it up to be cleaned after each use. But then all the little grooves make it hard to clean and food often gets stuck in them. The hinge at the back is very flimsy and broke on the third cleaning attempt.

Cuts nice, but broke within one week.Cuts nice. Not fun to clean at all and broke within one week. The thin plastic that is around the pin holding the two sides together broke off in the same spot on both ends of the pin. Unbelievably poor quality.

Well made pizza cutterThis pizza cutter is worth the money, it is made really sturdy, the blade is sharp. I have found with alot of pizza cutters the blade will wobble while your try to cut with it, not this one..this one is very stable. I recommend it!

This item is looks really cool and is extremely functionalPro: This item is looks really cool and is extremely functional. Cleaning the product was extremely simple…I’m not sure why others felt that it was so complicated; there is a piece that you turn to the side and it will open up the handle/housing into a “V” shape to allow for the blade/slicing wheel to be taken out and cleaned. Once clean you just insert the blade/slicing wheel back into the handle/housing and slide the lock button back into place and you’re all set to store or reuse…honestly takes 30 seconds to clean dry and put back together.Con: This product had me thinking it would be made of the highest quality as it states that it is made in Germany and German knives are some of the best! Well the blade is of high quality, but the Handle/Housing of the blade is made of cheap plastic that is most likely made in china. This product may not live to the expectation of longevity that I was hoping for, so I will use with caution.
