Like one other person noted on the reviews, be careful if you are going to grind salt. The salt and battery contacts don’t go together well. We have gotten to the point where we have to clean the oxidation off the contacts before the mill will work again. We have to do the quite often lately and it seems to be getting worse.
Update – contacted customer support and they were excellent! Quick to respond and sent out a new grinder. Very friendly too.

I ordered these 6 months ago and loved them. So much so when I had a problem with one of them I ordered a second pair to replace the one bad grinder I had. My logic was I would have a working set again and have a spare if another goes out- don’t try to figure me out- I’m not right. I didn’t even check on original warranty. Amuwitt customer service contacted me and said it looked like I was eligible for a replacement. Wow- when I gave them my info I had my replacement in a couple days. Now I have 2 working sets which I can use or maybe give one as a gift. I haven’t decided but I do truly love the grinders and now warranty/ customer service.

This set has been a life saver for me! I have trouble with my hands and usually need ergonomic tools for the kitchen. This set alleviates the need for anything ergonomic because it does the work for me. I appreciate the white light versus blue light as it is so much easier to see where the salt and pepper are going. I don’t know what I did without these! Everyone who comes to my house falls in love with them!
The customer service is top notch! My pepper grinder stopped working, and the company sent out a new one to me with super fast shipping! This is a big deal in my book! It really shows that the company stands behind their products and want to make their customers happy.

I purchased these to have fresh ground pepper available at any time. We have added the Himalayan pink salt to the other one so we can have both. The family came to visit for a holiday and they were really impressed with them. Needless to say they ended up on the gift list the next year.
The grinders each take 6 AAA batteries. I hate having to replace batteries, but they last for 2 years before needing to be replaced.
The operation is really simple:
Twist off the top and insert batteries.
Replace top and twist to lock it.
Twist off the bottom and add the pepper or salt then return and twist to lock
Now you are ready to use
Take the grinder and tilt it so it is upside down.
The grinder will sense the tilt and operate automatically.
You will hear the grinder run and the top will also provide light (nice , but not requiredP)
Bring the grinder back to its upright position and it will stop.
There is a knob in the middle at the top that allows you to adjust how fine or course you want the spice.
They are visually pleasant and work well.
The only negative that I have found is the salt/pepper is able to get into the area where the batteries are kept. The salt will make a mess and will eventually corrode the contacts. The pepper just makes a mess when you open them. So open them over the sink to avoid a mess all over the floor or counter.

These grinders are so beautiful plus they work really well. I ordered a set and one did not work. The light worked but the grinder didn’t. I contacted the seller and within a week I had a replacement! So not only are they a beautiful, well made item, but the customer service is top notch. I’m thinking I might be ordering some to give for Christmas gifts.

TLDR: Great grinder but didn’t last long
Good grinder with the ability to adjust how fine the salt is and container holds lot of salt but after 6 months one already stopped working (tried new battery’s and cleaned contacts, wasn’t dropped or damaged in anyway) so not sure why, the light is kinda pointless as well to be honest the only way it worked was in pitch black and cleaning you need to take the battery out or it will grind from tilting.
Battery was still going after 6 mths most days used morning and night so might last longer if grinder didn’t stop working.

I got these to replace similar shakers that faced downwards. The problem with the ones that face/grind from the bottom is that they leave a mess in the charger, and a bit on the table.
These don’t do that which is nice. The only downside is that they will always have some salt, or pepper, on the top after use. I also notice that after time, some of the salt or pepper finds its way into the battery compartment. Over time this may be an issue. We’ll see.
One thing I wish they’d do is make these where they use a charger in the base instead of standard batteries.

I loved this set of grinders.. Very stylish and elegant on my table.. But in just a month one of the grinders stopped working . Tried changing batteries but no use. May be I got a faulty piece. Otherwise, it’s a great purchase
Update : very impressed with the customer service. They reached out to me after my original review and sent me a replacement free of cost (though they need not do so as there is no documented guarantee on the product)
Refused the payment quoting customer satisfaction is utmost important to them. Truly blown away by the gesture and would love to buy from them again and support their business.
