works great first time every timewe bought this to replace an old slicer that was leaving metal shavings on the tomatoes. not only did this help to reduce time in slicing, it is also a little smaller, saving space. The rubber feet help keep it on the line while slicing as well. great buy!

Nice find! This has made burgers and salsa really easy to prep for. We went through a box of tomatoes to Salas in just a few minutes. For tomato slices for burgers it was super easy to keep up.

Definitely commercial gradeI use this in my restaurant, it’s very sturdy, and I would highly recommend investing in one.

good enough for the valueThey company that makes the product needs to work on a way to keep the screws tighten. At least once a week I have to tight the slicer. The slicer is as good, that is the price

Excellent for slicing tomatoesExcellent for slicing tomatoes. But, do beware, the tomatoes will fly off the cutter onto the counter. I suggest you put a plate or bowl at the end to catch the slices. I had an extra large tomato once so I removed the end plate and extended the cutter beyond its limits and it worked fine. I have not tried onions or anything else. On the other hand, I was disappointed that there were no instructions whatsoever. I did not like the spare blades either. There is no way to store them and a good way to cut my hand when I move them. It is a little difficult to store because it is a little big for not more than it does.

Easy to useMy staff love this slicer. It is so easy to use and the slices are the perfect thickness for sandwiches. It also is very easy to clean.

It is very easy to take apart and cleanit work really well for smaller tomatoes, but when you have larger ones and cut them to fit, the skins will jam in the corner and you have to work them out with a knife. It is very easy to take apart and clean. I am using it primarily for dehydrating purposes, so the larger heirloom varieties of tomatoes get kind of messy coming out the back, but smaller ones are perfect. I haven’t tried it with mushrooms, but I think it would work very well.
