Chopping WizardI absolutely love the itsy bitsy (dicing) grid/blade that comes with this chopper. I have not found another chopper with this small of a blade. For that reason I will continue to purchase the chopping Wizard no matter how many times the clear plastic base breaks. I am on my fourth one in about 10 years so I really don’t think that’s too bad. In addition it has always been priced under $20 until recently but still affordable. Another downside is It’s kind of a pain to clean the grid. However, I found an insert cleaning tab (sold separately) recently so now that problem is solved. Again, I love the small grate, perfect if you have toddlers and need to chop/cut their food Smaller. I like that all my veggies (cucumber, onions, bell peppers) are micro size for salads and cooking. I would recommend and recommend the cleaning tab with the same name

bought 3 times over the yrsWill continue to buy every few yrs just bcuz it does such a great job cubing, chopping veggies. Eventually the clear bottom holding container does start to crack and break apart in stress points. I’m going to try to be a little more gentle, not loading as much, cutting in smaller pieces. Maybe someone will come out with metal support strips in stress areas….I would switch to theirs. Replacement delivered 10/15/22…soooo appreciate that the delivery person put the pkg out of site behind a whicker chair on the porch ! Now that’s service !!!

Impossible to be withoutI love this product. I hope to never make salsa without one or two. I buy them 6 at a time because I use them almost everyday. They are a little tricky to clean but the tool that comes with it makes it okay. The most fragile part that is always the part that breaks, is the plastic circles on the sides of the dish that the lid fits into. Just be careful to put the lid on completely. If it is on an angle, that is when they break. I hope they make these forever. A must have for anyone who chops veggies or eggs or fruit.

Great kitchen toolI own one of these and like it so well, I purchased one for a friend. Works great for cutting peppers and onions and is easy to clean with the special tool that comes with it.

But as I expectedWith onions, it does not chop half an onion all at once as the picture shows. You have to cut or slice a thinner section for the top to push thru the metal section to make the chunks. It’s because the top is plastic. And it bends if you push too hard. Granted less work and more evenly chopped pieces than chopping the onions manually, but I expected it to actually chop half an onion as the picture shows, and trust me, It will not.

Everything I expected it to beI like how it uniformly chops veggies for soups and potatoes for frying. My sister had one of these and it was so handy I bought one of my own. Easy to clean if you use the little tool that comes with it and you clean it right away after using it.

DependableI had my first one for years. It finally broke after soo much abuse. I’m a caterer so you can imagine… sturdy. Love this product.Make sure it say Vidalia on the top. Don’t buy a look alike!!!
