When I flour meats, I like to use a strainer to sift the flour on. This does sift well, so it will serve the purpose, but it’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be and the lid doesn’t fit securely. I like to put flour in it and keep it handy, and it’s easy for the lid to get bumped off in the cabinet. It’s nice quality though and does what I intended it to do.

I wanted this for a baking powder shaker (to sprinkle on mattresses for freshener/deodorizer). Was very pleased with quality, easy to snapped shaker top on after filling, and appreciate the plastic lid to seal in contents. Will be ordering again to use for homemade rubs, flour, etc.

First, this shaker is tiny! Not a full size shaker. Next, I bought it because I liked the idea that it came with a lid to keep my powdered sugar covered — fresh & clean. The lid cover is next to impossible to take off. I had to finally get a knife and pliers to get it off. Luckily I did this while the container was empty. Had it been full of powdered sugar both I and my kitchen would’ve been a mess.
