Easy to read and good value. Only downside is that the hook is flimsy and the magnetic portion is practically useless because there are few magnetic spots in the refrigerator.

I put two identical AEVETE thermometers (both obtained from the same order) into a bowl containing ice and water, and let the mixture come to equilibrium. The temperature of such a mixture should be 0 degrees Celsius. (The Celsius temperature scale is defined to be 0°C when ice is in thermal equilibrium with water, and 100°C when water is in equilibrium with steam.) Well, one thermometer read 0.1 C and the other 0.9 C. So, both thermometers read about 0 C, but they differed with each other by 0.8 C. This experiment was repeated with the thermometers set to F. The expected temperature of an ice / water mixture is 32 F. One thermometer read 33.0 F and the other 33.6 F. Again, close but there seems to be a minor lack of accuracy. These devices are probably good enough for checking the temperature of your fridge or freezer, but bear in mind that they may be a little bit off. These are not laboratory grade.

Have it in my basement freezer. Haven’t had a problem since I got it. Been 6-8 weeks now. No complaints and has been accurate.

There are several features that I really like:
-Large numbers, easy to read
-Shows minimum and maximum temperatures – lets you know if there was an interruption in cooling.
-Can be hung different ways to accommodate your preference.

My large built-in refrigerator has been acting erratically lately so I needed to know exactly what was happening in both the freezer and fresh food sections. Using these wonderful devices I was able to plot the temperatures of each section by making note of the current, past low and past high temperatures of each every day for a week. By giving this information to the refrigerator repairman he will be able to diagnose my problem. Highly recommend!
