This is the SECOND grill thermometer I have purchased from this company! I bought one for myself about 6 months ago and I use it probably 4 times a week. I love how easy it is to use. I love how fast you get a reading on it. I love that it folds up to protect the probe. I love that it has a magnet on it so, I store it right on my refrigerator and can quickly grab it to go out to the grill or the oven.
My son in law bar-b-que and smokes a lot of meat and had mentioned he would like to have a meat thermometer. So, I went to my past purchases here on Amazon and hit rebuy this item. I like that there are different colors to choose from too. I purchased the red one for him for Christmas and I know he is going to be very happy. I highly recommend this product and this company.

Awesome thermometer that has features that have now made it my go-to thermometer. 1) ability to fold in the metal needle portion not only make it smaller when stored, but ensure the metal portion does not easily break off. When fully extended, it is much longer compared to most other thermometers, which greatly helps when dealing with a very hot oven or grill. 2) bright blue back-light and size of the display are a huge help when grilling outside, especially if it is dark. 3) Magnet backing makes it easy to stick to a fridge, stove, or grill for easy access while cooking
Been using it a few times a week for months, without any issues.
Feels well built but doesn’t appear to be water proof, so be careful when cleaning it.

This has been reliable for readings. I like that I can leave it on the fridge for easy access since its magnetic. It is also a strong magnet, it doesn’t slide. I was pleasantly surprised batteries were included. I like how easy it is to turn it on by simpling opening it. However, if I forget to close it I love that it has an auto shut off after about 10min. Great overall, the only caveat to this kind of digital thermometers is that you can’t leave them in while cooking. But I knew that when buying it obviously and am still happy.

This meat monitor was very accurate. I had purchased it for my vacation home I liked it so well after I received it I ordered another one for my primary home. It works as well as a very expensive one that I received as a gift many years ago. And I love that It is magnetic and you can stick it on the side of the refrigerator versus trying to find it in drawers. I’ve had both now for three months and I found a very handy. Even used it to measure the hot water coming out of faucets when trying to set my hot water heater. Very accurate!

Overall, this is a great meat thermometer. It is easy to use and it appears to be very accurate. Previously I had purchased a few other products with a wire cord. After a few months of use, the readings were inaccurate. That was a big concern because I didn’t want to serve undercooked meat, and I also didn’t want to serve dry, overcooked dishes either. This is so easy to use, I sent it with my sons to a Scout campout. The scouts loved it so much, they kept it. So I bought a second one for myself.
The only con of the product is the base of the lever (where the metal probe is attached) is plastic. I have not had any issues, but I am very careful when I use it. I make sure I open up the probe by holding at the plastic base. I would expect at some point a family member will open it from the end of the metal probe and break the probe off when it attaches to the plastic piece. But so far that has not happened.

This thermometer is easy to use and read. It is accurate from what I can tell (I didn’t do any scientific tests, but the food comes out right and is cooked appropriately). I love the fact that it has a button for lighting the screen when you use it at night near a grill that may have dim lighting. I also like the auto on/off feature–flip it open like a pocketknife and it comes on, close it and it goes off. There is also a powerful magnate on the back (hidden inside). Therefore, you can just stick it to the non-hot side of a steel grill, smoker, or fridge. The bright orange makes it easy to locate and the numbers are large, so you do not have to strain to see the temp. It came with a spare battery, too. I really like this thermometer and highly recommend it.

I’ve been looking for a Thermometer Like this one, not expensive, very easy to read. In my option, you can’t get better cooking aid for the Kitchen.
Great buy, A great utensil for the Kitchen for measuring how well done Meat, Poultry, or Fish has been. Cooked to. This Thermometer is a blessing and inexpensive as well also easy to read. I’ve also used it for water when bring to temperature for Baking, and it works well, buy it you’ll like it, well worth the few dollars you spend on the Great Buy.

I purchased this thermometer because it looked like it was portable and was wanted a thermometer for in the kitchen and for the grill.
I have been able to use it in different situations and overall this has been a great addition to my kitchen. It gives a temperature reading in under 5 seconds, it is waterproof which is great for outdoor cooking and magnetic so it can be placed on a metal object and doesn’t have to take up additional counter space.
The only downside is that you have to manually open the thermometer as it isn’t spring loaded. It is a little slow to open the first few times but becomes smoother over time.
Overall this is a quality thermometer and I would highly recommend to friends and family as an option that doesn’t have to break the bank!
