So far these have been very useful, they keep good readings, and stick firmly to the jar. i use them form kombucha making, and they’ve been great.

I use these for brewing. They seem to work well and are fairly accurate to ensure my brews are at optimal temperatures. Good product.

Once you get over 32C, the tape stops registering anything because its only up to 32C. Video shows my IR temp at over 34 and the tape not registering anything. Also for some reason, it starts out green at the 32C mark. As temp rises, the green vanishes and is replaced by violet. I presume that violet is the correct indicator. You just need to come up close to see it. When the violet vanishes, be careful. It could be scalding. Our temps range from 3C to over 40C in the Philippines. Please make tapes that cover that range. Overall I’m happy with the product. Just use common sense to stay safe. Update: Last two pics were taken about the same time 3:34pm and showing 39C on IR, while no reading on tape.

I love these except it is difficult to remove the backing of the strip

These are so small they fit better on a cup than on a carboy

These are mostly pretty good…they are easy to read and convenient. The only problem is that they are difficult to peel off. They leave behind a layer that must be meticulously scraped off the jar. Maybe that’s unavoidable with this technology.
