I have no idea how this has this many positive reviews. My own experience makes me wonder how many of the reviews are genuine.
It seemed to work fine at first. I didn’t like that the probe can only be used with your right hand but I lived with it.
Then I realized the temperature fluctuates constantly by 1-8 degrees or so – it never settles to a temperature.
Then about half a year in the device kept giving a “battery low” notice even with new batteries.
I contacted the company under the warranty. They claim they sent a replacement. This was over a month ago.
I would not recommend.

Great thermometer. Strong magnet to attach to grill or fridge. Accurate & fast. I have several “fast” thermometers that aren’t. This is! Has a temperature hold button. The only thing that’s a bit awkward is closing the probe. You have to push the button with one hand & close the probe till it clicks. Easy to overlook this little blip though. Display is easy to read. Definitely a good price, too.

I have only used it a couple times so far but works great! And it’s very nice looking too. I love the large read out and it folds for convenience. So glad I purchased this thermometer.

While I haven’t been able to verify accuracy yet, it definitely reads quickly and the flip out probe is pretty cool from a guys point of view. Not so much from Wifeys point of view.

Easy to read. Fast result. Feels good in the hand. Probe ticks away nicely. Solid construction.
After 5 months the probe came loose. I do not consider this reason to downgrade product. Things happen. The thermometer is very sold. The seller, i-Tronics, responded immediately and are sending replacement. Superb service!

This is my second thermopro thermometer. This model is so much nicer. LED reading is easy to see and change from Celsius or Fahrenheit. I love the magnets that stick to anything very well. It works fast and can’t wait to get years out of this thermometer.

I purchased this TP18 in Jan/19. It would never calibrate, would never go below 41 degrees, I adjusted it in my mind and cooked everything 7 degrees hotter. i should have sent it back then.. Now the probe pulled out and the case is cracked where it goes in. Not well made.. it doesn’t state the what the warranty is.. I just hate dealing with that..

I like that this is an easy to read digital thermometer, and I like the fact that it is magnetized. Just so handy to stick to stove where you can easily use it without having to look in drawer for it. It seems to be very accurate. I use mine very frequently. Worth the price,

Displays meat temp in just seconds. Great to know when meat is done to temp that kills all possible germs to keep us healthy without over cooking. Love this gadget!
