So it worked when i first got it, but i didnt actually use it until just now about a few weeks after i got it. It was stored in a spot that remains a good bit above freezing. It not working anymore (*・～・*). Like how? The day it arrived it was colder outside than where i had it….. Hmmm maybe i will return. For $15 it shouldnt break so easily! Plus the on/off and c/f buttons should have been on the lcd side. Anyway idk why it stop working. Man am i bummed about this. I dont have a printer to print the shipping label and public computers are off limits (ノ｀Д’)ノ彡┻━┻.
Update: well i called in amazon and i explained everything, thankfully they refunded me without a fuss. I mightve just gotten a dud idk. Anyway the customer service guy who took my call we got into a good conversation and he suggested to me the movie Jallikattu. I managed to watch it with eng sub titles and im glad we struck that conversation. Amazon has great customer service and i highly recommend anyone reading my comment to watch Jallikattu, the movie you expected from M Knight Shamalan but never got.

It does the job, its not really a nice thermometer, but its cheap. Boiling water said 212, freezing 32, so it must be accurate enough for my uses.

I literally use this every time I cook. I can check the internal temperature of anything without cutting open!!
I use it for all meats, and anything cooked in the oven. There are so many times I am not 100% sure if the middle cooks through, and this saves me so much time! No more sitting to eat and realizing the center of my food isn’t hot.

Purchased Dec 30 received in Jan 3 and today we are Jan 20 and it no longer works. Last week the screen seemed dim, I changed the batteries and it didn’t help. Today it’s not working and according to Amazon the item is eligible for a return. What a waste of money and I’m very disappointed with Amazon
