Our oven had been undercooking foods – bread, meat, etc. We finally wondered if the thermostat was off (digital oven). We purchased this thermometer and verified it on someone else’s oven, then checked our oven and found it was about 25F low at 350-425 degrees.
When we recalibrated the digital thermostat it now read accurately and both sets of bread we have made since then have come out beautifully.

I bought this because I thought my oven was running hotter than the temperature said. Turns out I was wrong. This little thermometer just showed me that my oven temperature was correct. I also use it in my toaster oven to make sure it’s getting up to the correct temperature. Don’t leave it in the oven all the time, I just put it in there when I turn my oven on to make sure the temperature is correct.

Seems accurate but falls over easily.

Now know with confidence my oven temp

Ordered a 3 pack and tested all three at 200 deg. F.
They were all within +/- of 5 deg. so that’s good enough for me.

It seems to be accurate, saying that my oven is 50 degrees hotter than the set temperature. I haven’t found the best way to hang/set it so that it doesn’t fall off the rack or isn’t too difficult to read. Do wish the numbers were a bit larger.

My oven is not digital and it was challenging to tell when it had reached the correct cooking temperature. Sometimes things took longer to bake and sometimes when they were baked for the appropriate length of time, they were dry. I purchased this to keep in the oven and so far, it has been hugely helpful in ensuring that food is not put into the oven until it has reached the correct temp and (I assume) that this will be consistent across time. Get one and use it!

I can barely see it from the outside of the oven and there’s really no way I can tell you if it reads correctly. I guess it makes sense to have one of these if you have an old oven? Not really used much

Difficult to read due to size but I don’t knock it over as much due to its size.

If anything, an oven thermometer should be able to stand the heat. After a few uses at 350 degrees, the inside, which was a nice white, started to burn and now it’s nearly impossible to read. Looks like they cheaped out on the materials making it a poor product for an oven thermometer. I’m very unhappy, and not sure how to even return.
