Bought this because it was one that didnt need to muck around with changing to see temps of all on one display with ease. Once batteries in worked straight away without doing anything else
However that day was high temp and the weather at a close weather station said 36 degrees and my outside sensor was picking up 40 or 41. Today the temp shows as 24 at the weather station and my display shows 30 degrees. My other one i had a plastic stick on the window shows 27 degrees . Therefore not impressed

Purchased this recently to take the place of a previous unit that uses button batteries and just last over a few weeks. The amount of button batteries used was ridiculous. After setting everything up, which I found easy, the main unit show that when the refrigerator has started warming, a downward arrow is shown on the main unit! Of course, when the refrigerator has start to cool down, an upward arrow is shown! Obviously, the main unit has not been assembled correctly. In addition, the second thermometer is shown first and then the second one. I have read that this is a USA custom. You would think that they would adapt it to the country they are selling the item in. It doesn’t surprise me anymore with the strange way they do things there. For example, measuring butter using a cup or a stick of butter (which does make sense once you learn what stick is) rather than a weight or the controls for a stand mixer is on the opposite side when using. I will look where it comes from before purchasing again!!

UPDATE –
The company contacted me with instructions to test the device. It still didn’t work. They were unable to just replace a single sensor so they gave me a full refund. I used the refund to order another system which arrived quickly and I found it wasn’t a bad sensor after all, but the receiver instead. I replaced the receiver with the new one and have 2 extra sensors from the original unit as spares.
I’m very happy with the Thermometer and have both my freezer monitored! I recommend this product!

This could be a great product but one sensor keeps showing low battery no matter how many new battery’s I have tried. I don’t want to return the full item because it took a while to arrive. I would like to have a sensor replaced, but I can’t find an option to do that – only return. Otherwise – it seems like a good product and it has many features that we like. The base unit has a magnetic back so you can put it on the outside of your refrigerator or freezer! Smart!

Some general oddities: Sensor 1 readout is in the middle and 2 is at the top. Some multipurpose buttons not well labeled. Hard to tell whether you are looking at min/max temps or your alarm setpoints. Min/max temps reset at some unknown interval so max temp may show 45′, then an hour or two later it reads 41′.
Use: I’m using this because my refrigerator didn’t come with a door open alarm and there are times when closing one door pops the other open just a bit.
Function:
Latency is a bit long for my use. the time it takes to identify a change in temperature can be quite long. So it’s not great at alarming a door open too long but eventually it does which is better than what I had (nothing)
I have this powered through the USB cable and I have lost the alarm setpoints when the plug looses power.

The thermometer works great.I made the mistake buying two for my multiple fridges. But only buy ONE! They are all on the same frequency. I would try to sync my wireless and it would pick up the other wireless thermometer. I have to send one back due to this flaw. They need to add an alternative frequency.

Works great so far used for green house vs outside temp. Used to check for frost. Used for refrigerator and freezer during outages. Used for medical fridge. Used for cooler during camping. And used to find coolest part of basement for veggie winter storage. and still is working. Takes a little to set up and connect, but don’t give up because once you get it working .. it works. 9/18/22

This works great! So great that 2 years later I bought another for an additional freezer. Unfortunately the wireless frequency must be the same so both units were reading the same sensors. I gave one to my son and purchased a different brand for my needs. Hoping the frequency is different.

My tests indicate this device will definitely provide an alarm if the freezer or refrigerator get too warm (e.g. if the door hasn’t properly closed). It isn’t perfectly accurate (e.g. it shows 30F for the refrigerator but nothing is frozen in there), but it is close enough. The magnets let it stick conveniently to the side of the refrigerator where it’s easy to check.
I would suggest using lithium batteries to avoid the risk of battery leakage.

Since I don’t visit these appliances daily I purchased this item to monitor a chest freezer and small fridge in the basement. The first thing I checked for was temperature accuracy against a known sensor. Very good. Remember to use alkaline batteries only as the cold will affect performance at these temps if using anything else. The range is very good considering the walls, floors and enclosures the signal must pass through. The low and high alarm settings along with the low and high temps since last reset is very useful to monitor performance of the appliances. I can’t speak to longevity since I have only had it for two weeks. The only failings I see are the lack of back lighting and no on-screen indication of the AC adapter being active. You must have this in proper lighting to read the screen without difficulty.

I purchased this in March 2021. Just recently the one sensor stopped working. I don’t know how to contact the manufacturer. One reason I gave a 4 rating is because of difficulty in setting it up until I learned that the reading that you set for the alarm is not the reading that it shows. Something about the history.
