It is a perfect item for an at-home date night. It’s fun figuring it out and making sushi for the first time. The best part is the “bazooka”, the cutting thing, and the sushi knife. I don’t really use any of the other things. The sushi tends to want to fall out of the perfect tube-shape quickly, but the nori (seaweed) sheets help keep it all together. The sushi tasted great, it looked cool, and we had fun. I highly recommend.

My kids really wanted to make sushi and we had never done it before although we frequent many establishments to be honest I thought it was going to be a complete disaster but I bought this kit and it made it so simple we did purchase a couple other key ingredients like the seaweed and such but I would give this 10 out of 10 and the little things like the Chopstick holders were super cute

This starter kit was great. Unfortunately one of the sauce dishes was cracked and there was no instruction manual or like inventory list of the included items.

I really liked how many tools this kit comes with. And all are easy to clean and easy to store away!

I like having all the very helpful tools in the set, I was able to make some really good Philadelphia rolls with them. Only thing is I wish they had more than just directions for the bazooka, I would have loved some helpful sushi recipes or tips for beginners.

This kit included a lot for the price. The mats are tied together with what seems to be regular yarn which I thought was odd but it seemed to work okay. I think it will be fine if you make sure to use cellophane between the mats and sushi when you roll it. The sushi tray to help slice it is helpful to get even pieces. The kit is reusable so I will keep mine to keep using when I want to make my own sushi rolls. Fun little kit for a novice like me.
