Very easy to useI considered a smaller container but am very happy I chose the 64oz low profile one. I think that, even when blending a smaller amount, there needs to be room for the vitamix to do it’s job effectively.

Amazing product, amazing customer serviceGet this pitcher!! Everything blends much better with the low profile pitcher. We used to have to stop the machine and stir it up but not anymore! The only time this wouldn’t be your best choice is if you are making single serve. It splashes and sprays it on the sides too much when I make small amounts. But for large quantities, this low profile pitcher gets the food to the blades better with its wide base and longer blades.I just got off the phone with customer service. Amazing customer service experience! This place is 5 stars. They stand behind their product no matter what. The machine itself is a beast. (I realize this review is for a pitcher.) That motor is whirling several times a day every single day at my house. We visit family and we bring it with us! And our relatives love that their guests provide a delicious healthy breakfast for everyone. I mean, we are 100% Vitamix fans.My husband makes healthy smoothies/ shakes everyday. My four kids are ridiculously picky and they get most of their nutrients in their daily smoothie at breakfast. I make hummus and I bring it to most parties because it’s such a crowd pleaser. We are buying a huge chunk of our fruit as frozen and that saves us money (frozen fruit is much cheaper than fresh fruit). I love that we consume so much fruit! And I make hummus for parties instead of other dishes. Hummus is cheap to make!! The trick to smooth hummus is an awesome blender. (Canned Goya beans are best)Get this! You won’t be sorry.

Works greatExcellent replacement for a worn out stained container plastic is sturdy and cleans easily. Seems to have some issues with low volume liquids, does not always blend thoroughly

QualityFirst of all, I ordered this product; however, it did not arrive. Finally, I received a message that it would not be delivered, my money was refunded promptly. What I can say, is that the Vitamix is fantastic appliance to own. I would recommend the Vitamix overall.

Large capacity but fits under cabinetI recently replaced my original tall blender pitcher after 10+ years of heavy use with this lower profile one and am super thrilled. It’s easier to clean since it is wider and blends beautifully, and fits perfectly under my cabinets. I hesitated buying this sinceil it is pricey but it is definitely worth it (and my old plastic pitcher got pretty opaque from heavy use). Make sure to check compatibility, but I’m pretty sure this is universal since my blender is the CIA version from circa 2013.

Good For Under Cabinets. Not So Good For Small Batches.I got this low-profile container for my Vitamix 5200 because I thought the wider base would be better for smaller batches since more surface area would be exposed. I was wrong — the taller, less wide container is better since it keeps the ingredients close together. Even better, I suppose, would be purchasing a smaller container. Still, this container is still better if you want to keep your blender on the counter, under your cabinets, without sacrificing capacity. Because the blade assembly is permanently attached at the base, It cleans just as easily as the tall container by whirring hot water and soap.– Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Great for Smoothies!I am a smoothie-oholic. I make huge smoothies seven days a week. My wife calls them compost smoothies because every fruit or vegetable that is starting to go gets put in with all the other good stuff my smoothie has. I have used the Vitamix for a few years (which I absolutely love) but I found that the original container had problems at stage two of my smoothie process because it was so tall it had a problem sucking down stuff from the top of the container. I just made due all those years.Then I saw this container and I thought it might work better because it was shorter and wider. I also hoped that it would fit on the Vitamix on the counter because we have low cupboards. I was right on both accounts. This container has no problem creating a vortex that mixes the top through to the bottom and although it hasn’t changed the consistency of my smoothies it has certainly made making them a whole lot easier and faster.And on top of that it is also easier to clean. I am so glad I made this purchase! If you love smoothies I bet you will too!

Don’t buy unless you have to – the other short options are betterWe purchased this as we wanted to be able to store the blender and container under our cupboards. We later purchased a 32oz container and noticed that it works much better. The low profile 64oz doesn’t mix as well with some of the ingredients sticking to the sides of container. It is also much messier, can’t use with lid open on slow speeds as you can with others and the spout is wide so doesn’t pour very well.If you need the short 64oz capacity, get it but if you can make do with the 32oz one (about the same height) get that one. We wish we hadn’t purchased the 64oz as it’s not needed.
