This tool has been the key to making many of my baked good. I like making buckeyes and this thing mixes well while scraping the sides of the mixing bowl. No more stopping to use a spatula to scrape the sides. It does it for me. A must have. You will not regret it.

I recommend using your KitchenAid pour shield, when using this product. If not you will have splatter’s everywhere. The flex edge beater is easy to use & clean. A great value for your money!! I recommend this product.

The blades on this beater are very stiff. If it was a little more flexible, it’d be easier to dial in the height of the mixer head so that it works effectively. Because it’s so stiff, any small mis-adjustment gives the mixer trouble. The head of the screw used to adjust the head is a very soft metal also, and easy to strip – basically get your adjustment done right and quickly if you want to save the adjustment screw.
Set it up a little less shallow and it will scrape a little better than the normal beater, but it will still require you to scrape the bowl down. Since I still have to scrape the bowl down, I gave up on this thing.
Perhaps if there were better instructions on how to setup the height, and clearer expectations on what a correctly paddle setup does, I would try using it again.
