After several mixing that flew all over the counter, I bought this shield and the problems are solved. It doesn’t stay on as well as I would like but it does a good enough job and I’m glad I bought it
Warning!!! don’t put this in a dishwasher. It now won’t stay on and I need to get a new one.

This is a perfect fit on my kitchen aid mixer, but do not put it in the dishwasher, not even too shelf. It will warp! I had to send mine back through a second cycle, then take it out while still hot and put on the bowl to reshape. Other than this minor inconvenience, it’s a pretty good shield. Some loose ingredients will still come flying out if you have mixer on too high of a speed when adding flour or powdered sugar.

I got this for my KSM90 Kitchen Aide mixer with 4.5qt bowl. The shield is misshapen and does not fit the bowl correctly. It works but will randomly fall into the mixing bowl. I little disappointed.

Works as expected. My bowl Measures 8 3/4″ diam 1/8″ lip ”has no handle”
It’s fairly hard plastic, so don’t expect it to stretch like a rubberband. Take ur time putting it on & off, and don’t force it.
Rinse it off luke warm water, store it back on the bowl, thus keeps it from warping. Common sense folks, goes a long ways!
