I wanted a sling that is easy to use and doesn’t need to be tossed after each use. This sling meets my requirements.

I bought this because I was sick of soaking, cleaning, and recleaning the metal trivet that came with my Instant Pot. I always felt uncomfortable about using the metal trivet with chicken just because it was hard to clean. This one is SO much easier. I generally just toss it in the dishwasher because it’s easy. However, I wish the handles were significantly shorter because it just kind of sits funny. You have to shove down the handles before shutting the lid.

Bought this to use with a 6-inch spring form pan in a 4-quart slow cooker. Absolutely perfect fit & the handles do not fall down into the cake.

This is the best and safest way to lift hot dishes of cooked food out of an instant pot. No more burnt fingers or spilled liquids or dishes slipping around on metal racks. The handles clip together during cooking so they don’t get in the food. The soft base holds the dish steady within the pot, and the handles provide even more stability as the hot dish is lifted out. The base then protects kitchen surfaces while the dish cools. I use a similar lifter in my 6 qt pot all the time. Had to get this one for the 3 qt pot I use most of the time.

This is the most versatile pressure cooker accessory I’ve ever seen, and the one I use almost every time I cook. It’s a trivet, a sling and an egg steamer all in one. What’s more, it excels at all 3 tasks. How many items can you say that about?
It is about 1” tall, and can easily be placed either in the bottom of the pot or on top of solid food like chicken, beef or pork. Some trivets have grids that are so open almost everything falls through them but not this one. Asparagus and green beans sit easily on the grid. As a sling, it really holds my PIP containers securely, with no wobble or worries they’ll fall out of it while I’m transferring hot food from pot to table. After lowering it into my IP I clip the handles closed. It’s easy to lift it out when cooking is done. Finally, it holds eggs either upright or on their sides. If I’m cooking more than half a dozen, I can stack them in layers, just as with my mesh steamer basket.
Bottom line, this is simply the best IP accessory I’ve ever seen, and this one fits my 3qt Mini. Just buy it already!

I like to cook things in small bowls inside my small instant pot and was always trying to pull it out without spilling. This works fantastic!

This works great don’t have to get out the great big canner for just a few jars can you use just about any pan as long as it’s deep enough for my jars. I would definitely buy this again

I can pull the meat right up onto a plate or board to cut it or slice it without fear of me getting burnt. Makes the electric pressure cooker much more versatile. Great purchase. Highly recommend this over the stainless steel one.

I use IP several times a week. Yesterday I used it twice and both times used this fabulous sling. First I made a big pot of farro. I prefer to cook in stainless steel bowls because the food is going to go into a bowl anyway, so why have two things to wash (IP insert + the bowl that I store the farro in). This sling is perfect for putting a bowl in the IP (because how to drop a bowl with fluid into the IP insert without sort of dropping it in) and then for getting the bowl out of the IP. The handles on this “sling” are long enough to be VERY USEFUL. No more wasting aluminum foil for slings. I would use a sling for months, not wasting too much foil, but still, it’s less foil to use PERIOD and less to recycle.
The other use of the IP and the sling is to heat up leftovers. Put the soup (or whatever you’re heating) in the bowl that you’re going to eat from. This is a smaller bowl than, say, cooking 2C farro/4C broth and even more of a challenge of how to get it in the IP. Drop it in? No way! So I take the SiCheer silicone sling, put it on the counter, put the bowl of food in the sling, and very gently using the sling handles put it in the IP. BE SURE TO ADD AT LEAST 1C WATER TO THE INSERT NO MATTER WHAT YOU’RE DOING!
I’m totally delighted with my bright orange sling. Highly recommended for an Instant Pot user.
