I have an instant pot but purchased this as a gift for family, they treated us to a wonderful dinner and the unit performed great. It looks durable, well made and has all the features you would expect. I think this is a great instant pot alternative if you need.

I wanted to like this product so bad. Other than it’s ability to cook things fast, it’s pretty much extra work in the kitchen. To start, the cooking times aren’t accurate because it takes 7-10 mins to warm up before it even starts cooking. Then you have to consider the mess it makes. You have the option to allow for the pressure to naturally release or quick release it. The first time we used it, we tried the quick release and tons of hot fluids from our food spilled out the top part where the knob is. It took an additional 15 mins to get all the pressure our safely without destroying our kitchen walls. The next day I tried the natural release method. Even though I didn’t touch it, hot fluids still ended up all over our kitchen. I was very careful not to add too much food or liquids and it still shot out. Then the cleaning process is horrific. Nothing is dishwasher safe, which is fine. However you have to completely take it apart to clean it well because food and fluids get in every single nook and cranny. I mean is just ridiculous, trying to scrape food from places that are tight and non-removable. Save yourself the hassle and buy a basic crockpot and just put the food on earlier!

If you are like me, lazy to cook but love delicious food, this pressure cooker is for you!
I had to get a new cooker cuz my original InstantPot started acting weird. I need it to prep meals for my family, so I had to look for a new one asap and came across this. It’s a lot cheaper in price and comes with 30 days refund policy!
What I love about it is the many pre-set meal options it has, and the rubber seal can easily be taken out with the metal ring to wash, which is different than other cookers’ design. First time I used it was to cook braised pork belly with soy sauce. I sauteed the meat using the sautee mode, then put in the seasoning, set the pressure choice to high and timer to 30 mins. Voilà, the meat turned out tender and juicy, and my family love it! I used it daily now to cook, and I’ve made pulled pork and soups, with no issues so far.
I recommend this cooker to anyone. It made my cooking life much easier.

When buying, I wanted an all-in-one like the Ninja Foodie, but at significantly less cost. I decided to give this device a go after reading the reviews – the price was right & as I was buying the Mealthy crisper to go with it, I’d get all the versatility of the Ninja Foodie at almost $100 less expense, aside from the dehydrate option, which I think is possible using manual settings. The 6qt looks very similar to Insta pot & others & is perfect size for 3-4servings. I’ve used the pressure cooker to make Flan – LOL. learning curve included- I didn’t get the lid on as securely as I thought, steam was coming out around the lid – but as the safety features didn’t allow the pressure to build up, it was more embarrassing than a problem. After canceling the program, I learned HOW to put the lid on securely by trial & error as usual. (One of those who reads the manual 1s, I dislike looking things up after!) I also used the Mealthy air crisper with it, and was very pleased with the results- and the ease of cleanup. So far, I’m pleased with this purchase, but feel I need more time using it before I can give 5*, simply because I had difficulty figuring out how to get the lid off to gain access to the inside right out of the box – only to discover I’d been making it more difficult than it was simply because of my familiarity with other appliances that had a ‘push button’ you had to engage to open, this does not require that! It came very well packaged, a box inside another box with the appropriate cushions inside – pictures of the packing/contents showing its well packaged -no damage from shipping. I bought the extended warranty, hoping to enjoy excellent service from both the appliance itself as well as the manufacturer. I’ll update my rating after having a few weeks time to learn more of its capabilities; the differences between hi, med, lo settings for each feature; the ability of each feature to work as expected; the non-stick coating and circuit board as those seem to be major issues with other pressure cookers similar to this. All in all, I feel I made a wise decision, but only time will tell.
