I purchased this skillet because of the ‘m’ design heating element. When it arrived, I read the directions and after washing the skillet, I seasoned it as directed. Have cooked in it many times and I love it. It heats evenly, items do not stick and cleanup is very easy!

We love this skillet. The heat distribution is perfect. The middle of the skillet heats up as well as around the perimeter. Excellent quality, worth the price, we love it and have ordered a second one so we’ll have a back up in case this one gets discontinued. We use it pretty much everyday and it’s the best one we’ve ever owned.

I bought this to replace one by another brand that I had for years. This is way better. Finish is amazing. Cleans up easily!

I tried almost every upcoming new skillet on the market. This skillet has all the “want-features” needed. It fries and cooks everything to perfection – even baking a cake. I’m hesitant in offering feedbacks – but this skillet deserves 5 STARS.

I really liked it I have used it twice now so much that I ordered another one for family dinners. My opinion it cooked much more evenly than my range top does. I really did like the safety lever on the controller, it has to be gently squeezed to disconnect from the skillet so it won’t lose the connection if you were to move the skillet. I’m very happy with this skillet & I would have reviewed unfavorably if I didn’t because I work very hard for my money and if something doesn’t work out right I tend to let people know. I LOVE the 3.5″ depth & the nonstick coating.

This product cooks well and does everything the ad states. However, the temperature control unit that fits into the frying pan fits very loosely. I contacted, by email, the manufacturer in California to see if they could give me any suggestions as to how I might be able to make the temperature control fit tighter or to see if I was doing something the wrong way. They wrote back to tell me that I would have to go through Amazon for possible assistance with this problem since I live in Canada and the product is only covered under an American warranty. I really didn’t want to send it back for replacement since it was working, I just wanted some advice about fitting the control so it wasn’t so loose. I really would have appreciated knowing that I wasn’t covered under a warranty before I purchased this item.

The temperature control on this “Elite Gourmet EG-6203# Extra Deep 16″x13″x3.2″ (10.5Qt.) Scratch Resistant, Easy Pour Spout” is hit-or-miss. It senses the temperature at the end of the skillet, not in the middle. When I fry eggs, they have crusty bottoms because this skillet over-heats. Notice the egg crusts in the photo. Also notice that the control on the skillet is set to 250 degrees but my thermometer shows 399 degrees.
To be fair, this seems to happen only when the skillet heats from a cold start. The temperature control is better after the control turns off and on a few times.
To document the problem, I set the thermostat control to 250 degrees from a cold start. I took my photo of the temperature as soon as the light went from on to off on the control. The skillet stopped heating at 399 degrees when the control was set to 250 degrees. After a few cycles, the temperature of the empty pan cycled between 200 and 300 degrees with the thermostat set to 250 which is accceptable.
Cracking eggs into a skillet at either 200 degrees or 300 degrees is not a problem. Crack those same eggs into a 399 degree pan ruins them.
Tip: Before cracking eggs into this empty skillet, let the thermostat control light cycle on and off and on, and off and on again before trying to fry eggs. I have to do this every morning, not just the first time I use the pan after its delivery.
The temperature control is reasonable after it has cycled on for and off for about 10 minutes from a cold start. Definately don’t start the skillet, wait for the light to go off the first time and assume you know the temperature.

we have had several electric skillets but this one is really nice. non-stick surface so you don’t have to be afraid of ruining the teflon (or whatever the others are coated with). Both has rubber or whatever so it doesn’t move easily by mistake (we’ve done that with others). The cord release is nice. It heats evenly so far. I give it a 9/10 or 4 1/2 stars as the only thing it is missing is we had one that had a lever you flip down so the fat runs to one side. only thing i miss otherwise this is an excellent product and cost seems fair.

I use this skillet for most meals. The boys often come thru and make grilled cheese sandwiches so it needed to be basic to use and clean up easily. I replaced one I had ordered a few months back that was a disaster coming out of the box from another company.
This skillets high sides allows me to stir fry without spinach or cabbage spilling over the shallow sides and has a heavy bottom for even heat distribution. The surface does not stick and I use less oil. Clean up is quick and easy.
I anticipate I will get a few years of daily use out of this electric skillet.

Can cook literally anything in this skillet, including baking a pineapple upside down cake, no sticking.
