CHARD FSOP-150 Electric Food Slicer
7.5” Stainless Steel Serrated Blade with Powerful 150 Watt Gear Driven Motor
The CHARD 150 Watt Slicer makes a great addition to any kitchen. The 7.5” stainless steel serrated blade and precision thickness control provide consistent slices every time.
The easy glide food carriage allows for large cuts of meat and the ergonomic guide allows food to safely stay in place while slicing. Extra-large suction cup feet provide a stable base on most surfaces.
Also features a recessed power switch which helps prevent accidental engagement.
HELPFUL HINTS:
– Only slice boneless meats, do not attempt to slice Do not attempt to slice extremely hard foods, or fruits with seeds.
– Your slicer is perfect for consistent uniform slices of fruits, onions, cucumbers, cheese, potatoes, or homemade breads.
– The serrated blade is your all-purpose blade.
– For best results always chill cheese or raw meats prior to slicing. It is best to spray the blade with water or wipe with a damp sponge when slicing soft cheese. If excess cheese builds up on the blade surface, wipe with a damp cloth to avoid overheating the motor.
– Never attempt to slice fully frozen foods.
– Ensure that all wrapping materials is removed from food prior to slicing.
– When slicing meats that have just been cooked ensure that they rest for at least 15 minutes prior to slicing. This will allow the natural juices to redistribute throughout, making for a juicier, more flavorful taste.

Some what slow but effectiver makes really this silces the way I like them.I wish the gears were metal but so far so good I give it an 8 out of 10. I would give it a 10 out of 10 if the gears were metal and if it was twice as fast.

So far, so good, except…First use today. Like other reviewers, I bought this to make homemade chicken treats for my dog. Mostly, to save some money (the local grocery has boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $1.38/pound), Of course, that is HYDRATED weight, so the price, compared to Chinese-made chicken treats, goes up AFTER dehydration, which is where the true comparison is. Anyway, if you are planning on making chicken breast treats for your dog, DEFINITELY partially freeze the meat first, for easier slicing with this machine (as others have noted). I sprayed some cookie sheets with cooking spray (so they wouldn’t stick) and laid the chicken breasts on them, for placing in the freezer. As to the title of this review, cleanup was easy enough, BUT I do NOT like that the sliced meat falls onto the thickness adjustment lever, which seems to me to be a bacteria trap. Even trying to catch the slices as they left the blade, I ended up with meat residue, and an occasional full slice, falling directly onto this adjustment lever. Other than this, no problems.
