Consistent Quality Slices, Every Time I love making homemade Jerky and this electric slicer is exactly what I needed to process large batches of venison or beef with the consistency I want for the dehydrator. The slicer operation is very simple. Adjust the knob to the desired thickness (the knob is numbered but I cannot find any documentation on what measurement the numbers translate to). Place the meat on the sliding table. Turn on the blade, and use the slide the table while using the pusher to feed the meat into the blade.Clean up is a little bit more work. You’ll need a pen and a quarter on hand. The pen needs to be inserted in the blade cover and turned to expose the blade housing. The quarter is used to turn the screw that will release the blade. I use

NO REPLACEMENT BLADEPurchased this slicer 11/2018 worked fair at best not much power. I only used this mostly to slice jerky meat did the job ok. 10/21 Tried to slice some cheddar cheese, the safety pusher hit the blade, BAD DESIGN. Went to chefs choice.com to get replacement blade did not see a replacement. Sent email to chefs choice asked how to find replacement blade. Received a email from support@thelegacycompany said usually respond in 24 hours, 4 days later no response, went to viewed my ticket on their web site said the page your looking for does not exist. They are still selling this slicer on amazon. SHAME ON CHEFS CHOICE I WILL NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN, I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF ICOULD

Dangerous to clean! The product photo is deceiving. The slide is covering up the blade. The blade is not easy to remove making this meat slicer very dangerous to clean.

Works great but didn’t get a booklet or directionsWorks great but didn’t get a booklet or directions. Not sure of easiest way to take off blade. Seems like there should be some type of tool included.

Great slicer!I purchased this as a gift for someone. He uses it often (at least weekly) and is very pleased with the various thicknesses of meat he can obtain. It is easy to use and to clean. So far it has held up well—no problems. I have a smaller model which he has liked using in the past, but he loves the 665 model! Well worth the price.

replacement parts are not available for CanadaPlastic pin attached to the blade broke after a few months of use. We can’t order replacement part because they don’t deliver to Canada, only to USA. This plastic part pin a weak part, as I can see, many people had the same problem. It’s an expensive slicer and I can’t use it, I can’t sell it, I can’t put it into the garbage because of the price we have paid.
