Great for milkshakes!Follow directions , pour contents while machine is turning. Don’t overfill, doesn’t get extremely firm but like a milkshake consistency . Possibly I overfilled. It’s quick , easy and a lot less mess!

Fun for kidsThis was a fun gift for a kid- easy to use and good quality. Just make sure you don’t put the ice cream mixture in before you put the paddle in and start spinning or it will freeze to the sides and not work.

Great little gizmoWe used this for the first time last night and it worked great. The ice cream had a very smooth soft-serve texture…even the dog enjoyed her tablespoonful. I put the leftover ice cream in a plastic container with a snug lid and put it in the freezer. This afternoon it is a little harder, but not too much. The texture is still very smooth and the ice cream is very tasty. It reminds me of the homemade ice cream that we used to make in the old hand-crank wooden ice cream churn. My grandfather would put a folded towel on the top of the churn, one of us kids would sit on it to hold it down because the hook was broken, then he would crank and crank and crank. We would always pick fresh blackberries to go with the ice cream. Those were the days! This ice cream took me on a very pleasant walk down memory lane.

Loved the easy to use and fun to own product.Loved it! My family and I have had a lot of fun making our own ice cream. The recipe book that accompanies it is very helpful and has many good and easy recipes. There are even more recipes on the Internet. I keep ingredients on hand and can make ice cream whenever the mood strikes me. Very affordable, easy to use and fun! Thank you!

Doesn’t produce thick enough ice-cream – comes out very soft serveDoesn’t produce thick enough ice-cream but comes out very soft serve then you need to freeze it with is almost the same as just freezing the mixture.

Makes wonderful homemade ice cream! My husband loves ice cream, and this is the perfect size for me to make ice cream and put in the freezer. It took me one time of struggling with it to figure out exactly how to use it – my mistake, not the freezer – but once I did, it only takes a few minutes for me to have another batch of ice cream underway!

Good but…This is my first ice cream maker so I don’t have anything else to compare it to. It works really good but although it comes with recipes and what is included in the box, it doesn’t have any instructions to put it together. I am challenged with putting stuff together with instructions so imagine the problems I had without them. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product itself. I would definitely advise that they include instructions with this.
