works wellThe motor seems strong. Love the case that keeps everything neatly together. Love the plastic beaters so I can use them with regular metal and glass bowls I already had. Only complaint is it’s more difficult to get the second beater pushed in and locked to use or it keeps falling out, an aggravation for sure. Mixer works well, once beaters are secure.

Plenty of power!I own a 9 speed Kitchenaid hand mixer. It sounded like it was going to die mixing cookie dough. I don’t have enough cabinet space for a stand mixer. So I searched for a more powerful hand mixer, and found this one with high ratings. It’s awesome! It will not only tackle the cookie dough, but it mixes bread dough too. And it doesn’t whirr like it’s tired. I bought a red one and bought my daughter a blue one. And I paid half the price on Amazon of what they are selling it for at my local department store. Very happy with this!

Okay mixerIt’s an okay mixer. Plastic beaters not the best, will be looking for metal ones to use. Speed is good to work with. Gets the job done.

All around a beautiful machine.It starts off slow, so there’s minimal splatter, but can also get really fast.It sits at a slight angle, so the beaters won’t pull it down with their weight when you’re working.I found that the beaters were easier to clean, with their curves, than normal beaters are.It is a bit heavier than other mixers are, but it’s powerful enough that I didn’t need to use it for long.My last mixer was in the same price range as this one, and it doesn’t even compare. I have no complaints; this is a beautiful machine.

Slow speed is slowDoes everything it’s supposed to and the slowest is slow enough to not sling flour.

Still trying to decide if 5 stars or not#1 I love that this hand mixer actually has a slow speed! The beaters I am trying to get used to. When I mix a cake, the beaters tend to make the mix sit up high on the beaters, almost to the mixer itself. I’m afraid batter is going to go everywhere. They are easy to clean and store easily in it’s little plastic container.

Perfect hand mixerThis hand mixer works very well and has plenty of power for mixing. I haven’t tried it on bread dough yet. I will update once I use it for mixing bread.

short term and note one thingRetro looks great. Tiny bit heavy – maybe. It’s fine. NOTE: If you tend to ‘not’ read directions, you might miss that the helical mixers have to be placed in a certain way. Don’t force ’em …and risk breaking things. RTM – or at least note that one thing. (There’s a notch on one and a tab on the other.)
